That's awesome that you have that Will.

The shocks, shakes, flashes, all that crap will eventually be gone. I was told a couple times the meds stay in your fat cells for maybe up to a year. It's not impossible. Because you are more attactive I'd think you have a better chance of sweating them out and getting rid of them a lot faster.

    How's your new car running?

    i read that too....

but hopefully all the body detoxing ive been doing... skin brushing, sauna treatments, dandelion root, milk thistle and some other herbs.... as well as like you said, the excercising will help get rid of the remaining toxins sooner. but yah, ive heard they would typically remain there for a year.... heard that people can still have the "sexual side effects" a year later....

my new car is running great. i absolutly love it and im so glad to be driving and have my own car again. :D thanks for asking. :)

I gained nearly 40lbs when I was on depo provera for just under two years

ick... was the only bad side-affect I had, but I'm not going back on that stuff ever. Even exercising really often doesn't stop you from gaining weight (I mean biking to work, working eight hours, biking to the gym, doing gym stuff for nearly two hours, and biking home and I'd still gain weight, it was ridiculous)

this is the reason why i'm reluctant to go on any meds or even talk to to my doctors about things, they might wanna stick me on some crap...

my wife had some really nasty side effects from depo.....she bled for like a year straight, and the hospital kept telling her it was normal. Then we went to another hospital that told her the other hospital was a bunch of incompetant idiots.

Running is the only thing that has ever let me be 'thin' without dieting...*eats brownie* no other exercise works for me, very strange indeed. I hate having mono...blahhhhhhhhhh I feel so gross and blahhhhhh and I wanna go to bed.......

spotting is really normal with depo, it's a common side affect. Most women can't deal with it though, so they don't get the second shot

It's not a good thing, but it is normal... just not healthy lol

I only had weight gain, and I was moody for two days around shot time, otherwise I had -no- sideaffects. No menstruation, no pms, no backaches cramping or bloating, it was great. Fuck, I was even happy on that stuff, I was more mentally balanced while on it, it was crazy

but the weight gain was too much. I mean, if I could've exercised it off I could have dealt with it, but it just kept increasing and increasing no matter what I did

It was more than just spotting. It was normal "on the rag" bleeding. Its just a good damn thing she was healthy and her body kept replacing the blood as fast as it did. It turns out she was allergic to it. and the retard hospital said that wasn't possible. But the good hospital showed us documentation that it was. And how dangerous it was to let something like that go for so long. ( too bad I didn't think of lawsuit then)

when I went off my meds I would wean myself like you did, then just take one when I started feeling sick... gradually I was only taking one every 2nd day or so .... until you stop feeling sick. It's a long process I know, don't go back and forth though, if you decide to go off (with your doctor's permission lol he told me not to but I asked him how would you anyways just in case) You will feel shitty and want to go back on but resist it, just take it slow. Damn bad withdrawl eh?
good luck and smoke some pot it'll help with your irritability and a lot of the other symptoms.

I havent heard anything good about depro BTW.

There are sure some nasty withdrawl symptoms with anti-depressants. I had my worse ones with Paxil, Diarrhea, 'electric shocks', sleepiness. I didnt have any withdrawl from Fluox, though, which was good. I have been off the anti's since August. :) I still get panic attacks sometimes and I am easily irritated, but I can deal with it. I have Executive B Stress formula if I really need something, but I feel better these days than I have for a long time. :)

    Hang in there Trish. :)

My friend was taking anti-depressants and they were completely fucking her up. She stopped taking them after the pharmecist told her that she shouldn't take them because the dose they were giving her was enough for a 250 pound man and she only weighs about 105. Totally messed up.

    I haven't

and while I think there are times that they could be very beneficial for me, I don't think I'd ever go on them. Not unless my depression was less sporadic... it's mostly basedi n the weather/winter/lack of sunlight these days
