I really don't like GTA4 all that much. I get bored with it quickly and the story line is very dull. It may be that I just played out the GTA series in general. I played GTA San Andreas way too much. Not to say San Andreas wasn't a great game, I just overplayed it. In my personal opinion, GTA2 was the best. I loved the overhead view.
san andreas sucks..it's not even grand theft auto..it has nothing to do with the mafia or anything..you're just some nigga in the ghetto lol i haven't played gta4 yet but i heard it was great vice city's my fav and gta3 is great too
it's different tho...your a black dude in the ghetto and sure maybe a few missions but most is just stupid gang shit...not the traditional grand theft auto =/
GTA4 may have better graphics and physics, but it's shit for fun. The driving is way too realistic, so you have to actually drive the speed limit, and you can't steal a car without a fucking cop coming after you. San Andreas is straight fun, not to mention that the map is so much better.
Italians can't swim and die instanteously in the water but black people can hold their breath underwater FOR FUCKING EVER. I always found that humorous. Along with the joke that black people are better at aiming and shooting people with the super power of seeing their health. I miss my group of friends who made racial jokes.
They should of kept the original character and just have him go from city to city taken over cause these new main ones im not a fan of, it just gets worse and worse, a black guy and now a eastern european wtf. i didnt like how the cars started so slow too. Yes the details are insane but think about it have you ever heard people hatin on GTA until part 4.
i prefer gta4 over san andreas. san andreas was by far my least favorite gta game. its not bad or anything just no where near as good as the others. gta 4 was all i did for a couple weeks on the other hand
i prefer that gang feeling you have at the beginning of SA in the los santos missions. i like how its all cetnred arond the same sorta area.
ive completed SA like 3 times and im still not bored of it, whereas GTA4, i know people who had it, first 2 weeks they bummed it and after that they didnt talk about it anymore. storyline is too short
seems all the hating on GTA: SA is rascist shit. that's why you didn't like it? Because he was black? San Andreas was by FAR the best. none of the others are even in the same league. think about it, CJ made such pithy comments(i jumped off the mountain and he goes "hey! what the fuck!" splat!). Planes, trains, bikes, cheats, clothing options, stunts, the army, skills,double wielded weapons(and more options).
o well its kinda the exact opposite for me. i played through SA real fast and got bored after a month or so, and havent been back since. gta 4 on the other hand had a good enough plot that i went back and repplayed several times choosing all the alternatives i haddnt picked before and noticing details in the plot i had missed the first time, but to each their own. and o yah to the other guy who said the reason people didnt like SA as much was because the character was black, i laughed out loud that comment was so stupid
