Way to run away from debate there little one. Way to assume you know whats going on, and way to assume that you know me. At the cost of making yourself look more pathetic than now, why not just ask me how old I am? Why not take the time to look at other posts i have on these forums? Why not debate with me? Wait, you are allowed opinions but I'm not? You know, comments like yours kinda break up what you stand for. There is always someone on the other side making a good point, until some moron opens their mouth and says something like you just did, that makes even people on your own side wence and think "why the hell did you open your mouth". You just strengthen my resolve. I am a 27 year old American, that has lost family in the war. I am an American that understands the cost of my freedom. I am an American that thinks everyone should have this freedom. I am an American willing to fight for that freedom. Rebublican....Democrate.....I am an American!
MoonShyne, do you enjoy making a royal ass of yourself? I sorry but you aren't known for the most enlightning posts ever. That award is a tossup between LickHerIsh and Max Power Juggalo, you are a perfect example of the 15 year old "punk" asswipe who thinks that his shirt with I (airplanes flying into the WTC) New York shirt is badass. So all Texans are dumb eh? Do you like social programs? LBJ (a texan) brought those to us. So before you make yourself out to be uber cool again please think.
You're perfectly welcome to hold any opinions you like. That doesn't mean I have to like them. And I'd be more than happy to debate with you whenever I get the time to. Comments like mine? Sorry bout that, I guess you're not 50 after all. My bad. But you're little end speech there pretty much proved my point. How many times do youy really think it's nessecary to write "american" in 5 sentences? I think we get the point, darling, there is no need to repeat yourself like that. LOL, that funny coming from a banker who gets his information based on the clothes people wear when they cash their checks. Bravo. If my posts aren't "enlightning" to you it's just because you've already got your mind made up and no amount of reason or logic will ever change it. At least I have facts to back my statements, whereas you just decide you know something based on what time of the month they come by your place of work. I don't believe I've ever seen a post by you that had any kind of reliable statistic or other information, and I've come to the conclusion that the only thing you're good for is calling people names, or coming in behind another persons post and acting like a little forum cheerleader. Your mother must be so proud.
Sounds like someone I know named Moonshyne or something like that. *cough* Okay so where are your facts? Yeah, you'll debate with him when you "have the time". That's classic for "Eh... I don't know what I'm talking about. I have my thumb up my ass." And calling people names isn't the only thing he's good for. He also has a brain, and he uses it.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that I NEEDED facts when someone says they back bush for no obvious reason. Just because I didn't post them on this particular thread doesn't mean I don't have them. But I guess you just need something to bitch about, so if it makes you feel a little bit better about your own ignorance, then please continue. I'm glad to be of service No, it's classic for "I have better things to do then sit in front of the computer all day and bicker back and forth with absolute idiots." It's called a life, and you might enjoy trying it sometime :H Also, there's the fact that this has become a pretty useless thread....try starting another one with something other than "Bush is a good guy" and i'd be more than happy to show you why he's not. umm, when? Oh, i guess that last post he made was pretty meaningful, wasn't it? If that's the case, then please, I beg of you, continue to show us the error of our ways with intelligent terms like "dumb-ass" and so on. I'm sure one day it'll mean something to someone.....perhaps even change their life. Oh, happy day!
I see you're a religious girl, moon java. I found this verse especially for you. God bless you, and may he have mercy on your soul.
My post was made at the last minute right before I went to bed. (I work early mornings, and I didn't have the time to put all I would have liked to) Or are you the only one allowed to use that excuse? Miss "I would debate you if I had the time." Yeah, yeah. If you really felt so strongly and had reasons to back that up, I'm sure you would find the time if it was so important to you. Anyway, I was curious to see what people would think/say about me posting something good about Bush in this anti-bush thread. And I was right because look where we are now. Oh, the beauty of free speech. Iraqi's have that now, too, btw.
Well then, please, enlighten me. You're not supposed to have facts about what other people say, but you should present the reasons why you don't like Bush. And I'm not bitching, either. I'm presenting my case like an adult. You said something about me "probably being a 50-year-old something or another," but I notice your real age isn't posted on your information. Are you even old enough to vote? And how many pro Bush statements am I going to have to make before you are "of service" by giving me your supposed "reasons"? Bring it on! I'd love to hear your reasons.
Do you even know what this verse means? It's interesting because today when i was listening to the radio at w...ork, I heard a message about this very subject. Some people call themselves apostles, and a lot of people wonder why Paul couldn't have been an apostle of Jesus. What the Bible is trying to say here is that in order to be an apostle, one would have to have interacted and been with Jesus personally (in the flesh). And they would have to have followed him, also. (Note: there were only 12 apostles.) Since Christ died for us (but is actually alive spiritually) there is no way a person these days could claim to be an apostle when Jesus hasn't walked on the Earth in 2004 years. I hope I have bettered your understanding on this verse. I know who I serve, and thank you for challenging that because I prayed to God to speak to me today, and he did so much. Now I have applied what I learned from his word in my life! And God Bless your soul. Really, I say that with a good attitude, not a deceitful one.
Well, okay I've read this debate over and over and I've never seen anybody leave thinking differently. But, hey, since I love you guys, I'll give you something you can all celebrate together over.... I'm leaving this thread! YAY! now you can all kiss and hug and sing and be happy and drink punch because the annoying little kid who never knows what she's talking about is leaving the thread! ...my gift to you... ~peace~
You're right, that's not the purpose of a debate. It's not like you're going to change anyone's mind, but at least your voice is being heard. I personally wouldn't mind if you stuck around. But I guess since you're leaving you wont be reading this post anyway....
Theres a difference between being a drug user and letting others do what they want and minding your own buisness, and being like Bush, and using drugs all through his college years, and than signing an act placing more drug testing in schools, and trying to make drug posession a terrorist crime. Bush is a hypocrite and a fucking joke. Peace and Love, Dan
having faced and recovered from the nightmare of drug addiction myself, i can see where the knee-jerk reaction would be to do the things he's done. i think i made the point in the "lets set something straight" thread that i don't think this makes him a hypocrite, rather someone who truly but wrongfully believes that prohibition of drugs is effective. i can see that. i don't think that particular point makes him a bad person, just a wrong one.
His belligerent condemnation and his virulent vocal attacks of drug users is what makes him a hypocrite. For heaven's sake kc, are you unable to fathom the basic concept of hypocrisy? It has nothing to do with particular "solutions", but rather the sweeping indictment made by one against others who exhibit a given quality or fault whilst exhibiting that same quality or fault him or herself. This truly should not be so difficult a concept to grasp. His hypocrisy is indeed evident by the self-righteousness with which he has long condemned others. Being the devout Christian you claim to be, I shouldn't need to remind you that Christ himself said to remove the beam from one's own eye before concerning themselves with the speck in their neighbour's eye. Something Rush has never done, thus he remains a hypocrite so long as he continues to pontificate against and otherwise condemn others.
You HAVE to vote for kerry, even if he isn't that great of a canidate because of one reason. The international community is all sick of Bush and his admin. no one wants to work with him because he badmouthed every country unwilling to follow him, and than a year later when the shit hit the fan, he came begging for their help, and nobody wants to help him, but with Kerry in office, the international community may give him a chance, but there is no way to get other countries to help us with that idiot in the office. peace and Love, Dan
i think he's got a better idea on what behavior deserves derision having been in the same position. who better to know who's an ass than another ass? i don't consider it hypocrisy when that same virulence is directed at himself. having been there, i can totally understand. i may have grown up a bit, but i can't very well condemn the man's behavior since i did it myself. but that's only because i've grown a bit, understand more, and am not so angry now.
