I don't think anybody's debating whether things are changing.

The real debate is whether it's an existential immediate emergency that we have to drop everything this second for, shut down everything at the snap of a finger or face an imminent painful death.

Bottom line is if we bring the economies to halt, many more people will die than might over a couple degrees of global temperature increase over a few decades.

It needs to be assessed and addressed, but by rational, methodical, deliberate, scientifically sound approaches that minimize impact to people's standards of living.

This after disparaging pissing outdoors.

And yes, evaporative cooling had been demonstrated in earlier centuries.

Okay. That's a system, it'll help.
I say good idea.
The problem is the part where they arbitrarily throw out numbers.
You know, like when they say we gotta do X units by X date.
We don't know that.
Our smartest scientists can't agree on forecasts.
The smartest 16yo girl on the planet sure can't.
I wonder if she's even taken physics and chemistry.
But the thing is, when people start talking b-s, they lose their audience. If she'd simply identify the potential problems and urge resources in the direction of research and cures (rather than throwing out numbers not universally agreed upon), she'd have a much bigger following and be more helpful in encouraging everyone to be good stewards.
How many times have people prophesied that if we didn't do X by some target date, everything will go to hell in a hand basket???

Yes you know what i'm saying about the pissing outdoors thing. Maybe when summer hits you should take a raw egg and fry it on the road. It will give you a good indication that the road is hot.
