Just wondering how it's obvious she has a mental illness when she speaks so eloquently in a second language no less.

 

I didn't know she had asperger or depression.

It just wasn't nice to watch a girl that looked ill and anxious.
She is not well and her parents should not of allowed it

Not taking kindly to Greta's allegations Jeremy Clarkson branded her a 'spoilt brat' writing in his column for The Sun: ‘How dare you sail to America on a carbon fibre yacht that you didn’t build which cost £15million, that you didn’t earn, and which has a back-up diesel engine that you didn’t mention.'

'We gave you mobile phones and laptops and the internet. We created the social media you use every day and we run the banks that pay for it all,‘So how dare you stand there and lecture us, you spoilt brat.’

Admitting that their was a global climate crisis that could lead to a wide scale refugee crisis the presenter urged Greta to 'get back to school'.

He told her how science will be what solves the problem 'not scowling and having screaming ab-dabs every five minutes',

He concluded: ‘So be a good girl, shut up and let them get on with it.'

 

Children should be seen and not heard! Forget the fact your votes no longer matter and your constitution is in shreds, while over half the population keeps insisting the government and corporations they call evil lie to them for their own protection. Women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen!

Fuck that, the little girl knows all too damned well the only way to get ahead in this lily white man's world, is to get in their faces. Martin Luther King did not merely write polite letters to the editor. Billy Jean King did not merely politely insist women can do anything, because that never has worked for anyone. The more you criticize her, the more others will follow her example.

Nothing more horrible than watching children complain they have no future. Fucking ingrates don't know just how good they have it to be born twenty trillion dollars in debt into a world where the ecology is about to collapse.

There are no good politicians anymore, because they all have the good sense to recognize when it is merely politics in name and the lawyers are all stabbing the public and each other in the back. If Donald Duck treated his own nominations to office any worse, he would be declared a public health hazard by the EPA. Its the whole Mafia honor among thieves thing, and his own people are abandoning ship faster than rats, but in another ten years the older members of congress will retire and nobody will remember when they had an honest politician. The same for the American public, which elected Donald Duck against the wishes of his own party leaders, to oppose the same congress they had elected. It gets confusing when they all start to look like the same money grubbing assholes willing to do and say anything.

Which means only Fox News can save us now! Only they truly comprehend the evil that is reality TV. Fox is legally entertainment, and could start a protest march and claim is just a nice walk. Me, I work on the mathematics to design bots to drive the entire country insane attempting to argue some sense into a bot. No sense in the idiots feeling like they are disenfranchised, not when you can make more money than Steve Jobs just giving them all the crap they love, and watch them die younger and reproduce less often.

 

I never liked him in the first place, but that article made me feel a bit sick. So many people missing the point.

 

It's a combined effort of industry, governments AND ordinary citizens like you and me. And it is going to be 'dealing with this' more so than 'fixing all this'. In order to deal with the changes we have to change our polluting ways.

 

I don't understand why people find Clarksons opinion on Thunberg interesting or meaningful.

 

You mean it will be a last act of desperation after people start dying by the hundreds of millions. We need a theory of everything right now, not later, so anyone willing can do whatever they can before the shit hits the fan. My bet is the oceans will rise at least ten feet, almost instantly, and that's as much of a warning as anyone will get.

One quarter of the entire world economy is based on the export of fossil fuels and the biggest exporters tend to be third world countries that have little other income. By merely allowing the greenhouse effect to continue, they will kill themselves first and put themselves out of business. The banks only care about winning, not human rights or saving the planet. There's a reason Americans have supported Donald Duck's wall, because they are preparing for Armageddon!

 

It can't be fixed. It will never be fixed. Humans want more than what they have and that will never change. All these people who think that they need to build new things rather than fixing old things are only proof of this. People who think fashion is one of the most magical things in life want more clothing and the latest styles. People want to sit in cool, air-conditioned rooms. People want to run businesses selling new products rather than using old things. Humanity is stuck in its ways and it will take something huge to change it.

People think that blaming others is the right thing to do. Greta blamed older people. Older people blame millennials. There's no solution. Michael Jackson tried to encourage people to love and respect each other and realise what humanity was doing to the world and all the world did to him was lead him to a premature death. Greta is now being BULLIED. The only way anything will ever change is if people stop bullying each other and start working together. As I said, it will never be fixed.
