Well people watch too many movies about the end of the world. Let's just get one thing straight. The world is a gigantic ball of mass and steel where the utmost devastating weapons humans have created have barely scathed the surface. We've been exploded with meteroties since day dot. The world is not ending any time soon at all. Life on earth may distinguish, but the world will still be here.

 

Over 90% of the world's wealth is in speculation, such as the stock market, while 40% of all Wall Street transactions are handled by computers, and over a trillion dollars was invested in AI last year alone. Poverty is no different from climate change, in that both are artificial and about to be outdated. The only reason money even has any value, is because people with guns insist it does. While I'm not suggesting a Utopia is coming overnight, it is up to each of us to be prepared for what is to come, because the monetary system itself is about to collapse under its own weight. Once money is a science speculation will largely become a thing of the past and actually investing in each other will become much more profitable and the only way to secure our future.

Sounds crazy? Quantum mechanics is the most accurate theory we have, applicable to everything but gravity, and is accurate to 14 decimal places, while a theory of everything should be even more accurate and useful. Forget about who they vote for, because they are all complete idiots and it is pointless to worry about any regrets they might have in the future, when AI is the future, because there never was any intelligent life around here. What is coming is the singularity, which is much more asian than western. If you want to comprehend the future, then I suggest reading the Tao Te Ching for at least fifteen years, because Taoists knew this day was coming 12,000 years ago. Not because life is fated, but because they have a much more subtle sense of humor, and know yin and yang rule the universe.

They have more power, because it is cheaper to collect sun and wind energy than to drill and dig crap out of the ground. The only reason we still use fossil fuels, is because a quarter of the world's economy relies on their export.

I would add that the minute Opec imposed their first oil embargo, the major oil companies all invested in solar. The only thing the idiots care about is their money, and solar is about to stomp fossil fuel into the dirt with the newest solar collectors and batteries coming on the market, which are half as expensive. Within three years, it will be so cheap you would be a fool to keep paying the electric company. I'd estimate for around $4,000.oo a family of four could cut their electric bill down to almost nothing, and they could invest in just $2,000.oo to begin with and expand on it later.

Shipping coal and oil all over the world is destined to die a painful death. The real question is not what is cheaper or cleaner, but how can we help a third of the world's population still dependent on exporting fossil fuels. Half or more of their income comes from those exports, while at the rate prices are dropping, they will have to ship them in solar powered cargo ships. There are serious attempts to make solar powered paint you can spray all over your house or on cargo containers and ships, while the first room temperature superconductor was just patented, and will make them even more wildly efficient.

 

Light bulb in the bedroom died last night, looked under the kitchen sink, realized I was out, also realized its probably like 2 years since I had to replace one.

I'm talking about the old style ordinary cheap ones that cost like 50c

So I walk into the supermarket today to stock up, they dont sell them anymore. No empty little part of the shelf where they were just out of stock. No option but those super dooper energy saving longer lasting ones and the cheapest one was $10, for one light bulb

If I need a lightbulb, I just buy one. I don't even look at the price. I have no idea what an energy efficient bulb costs.

 

We have LED down lights. In the almost 6 years since I bought the house, I've changed them maybe twice a year. They're pathetic. Then just to make it more confusing, every other feature light or ceiling fan light is different again. Different lights again in the hallways.

Our lounge room light is like a long computer chip. You clip it in and it lights up. Doesn't look like a bulb whatsoever.

 

I replaced most of the lights in my home with LED lights about a year ago and haven't had to replace them again yet

Those other lights...I can't remember what they're called but the ones that have replaced regular incandescent because they're more energy efficient and environmentally friendly, supposedly....the weird lights in a spiral shape...anyways they have freaking mercury in them. If you break one you cant touch it with your bare hand and you have to dispose of it carefully

Everyone in that room is inhaling mercury, toxic gasses and fine glass particles. They can easily get mouth, osophageal and lung cancers, pneumonia and a host of other deadly health consequences. BUT, The gore was great though.

 

I've come across this with a few people I know who lean heavily to the right.. I think it's an angle their news sources often take because it triggers righteous indignation of their readers. These are people who love to get outraged over financial injustices.. But weirdly, not the real ones that actually exist and are about people starving or anything. Just anyone "getting something for nothing" or who is perceived as doing so.

So it often is the aspect they focus on. And I guess that's the point. The right wing media want their readers, instead of thinking about whether the message is right or wrong, to get outraged over the injustice of some spoiled brat getting loads of money for nothing. They get so angry about this injustice they are incapable of realizing it makes no sense.

 

They love to point fingers at anyone but themselves, so their view of the world starts to resemble reality TV and professional wrestling. However, Fox News is legally just entertainment, which means you can automate them totally out of existence, and use AI to give the idiots more than they ever bargained for. They want bleach blond, AI can give them all the bleach blonds they want, they want a self-righteous male talking head, AI can provide one that is tailor made for the individual. So long as they insist on being that infantile and materialistic, they will remain the target of ever corporation on the planet, every fucking hacker, every stupid kid with a computer.

They refuse to believe they are vulnerable, but their rhetoric makes them vulnerable as hell, as does all their materialistic bullshit. Give them all the options their little heart could possibly desire, and they will happily die that much faster and reproduce less often. They are already dying faster, reproducing less often, and driving their own children away. AI is the great equalizer, because the right wing's only strategy is divide and conquer. Talk radio has nothing on what AI can accomplish for a much lower cost. If the idiots refuse to think for themselves and anything goes, then the corporations will eat them alive in every way imaginable once they have the mathematics. Freedom of choice means pick your legal poison in their case, and AI can come with the latest lie detectors and fact checkers to make sure you only hear what you want to hear, see exactly what you want to see, and believe whatever you want, with the result they will not even tolerate each other anymore, and insist its all censored, even though the machines merely tell them what they want.

Donald Duck won the election, against the wishes of his own party leaders, and still has a loyal following, because he's an expert at professional wrestling smack talk, which can easily be automated better than any human can replicate. Go ahead, say its all fake, but so is Fox News, and encouraging them to kill themselves and each other is perfectly legal if you call it entertainment and, since its not the truth, it is just entertainment until someone declares it illegal. Already, I could probably make a small fortune just by filling a website like this one with rhetoric spouting right wing bots, because the idiots will keep trying to find someone real to argue with or who will tell them what they want to hear. Forget Rupert Murdoch, I'm talking the video gaming and porn industry, who will have no mercy on their souls and put televangelists out of business.
