I've done qi gong practices, received acupuncture, and had reiki/qi healing treatments before it certainly feels like there is a current of energy flowing through my body during these After a meditation practice, there happened to be a tibetan buddhist healing ceremony being performed in a room across the hall. I went to investigate, but had a weird feeling like a couldn't walk past a small figurine on a table. Later, a monk came out and removed the figurine, and I went in. I didn't participate in that ceremony. I did check out another tibetan buddhist ceremony performed by others. during one ceremony (I went to several), I had a weird feeling like my whole body was vibrating. I only know what I've experienced. One might argue that what I felt was just the product of my imagination. Or one might say that there are things beyond the conventional materialistic world view I think it's fine for people to believe whatever they want. I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of a world view that they are comfortable with I see no reason for anyone to be smug though. The universe is a bewildering place, and none of us can claim to have a complete understanding of it, imho
I feel energy when I walk into older houses. I bought my couch used from Goodwill. Its an interesting couch to me and I've built this whole person and life in my head imagining the previous owner. Perhaps that's the logical explanation - this "energy" is just our imagination making up a history for these inanimate objects. Or maybe energy from people really does rub off on objects they care about. No one can really say for sure and it makes life more interesting for people who believe in it.
Maybe it's more important to get clothes that are affordable than be naked and worry about what kind of energy they are giving off!
This warning is among the most stupid things I have ever heard. Most of the things I have are second or third hand. I wonder if the guy has any antiques in his house.
