Oh holy shit, i have been worried about my order since last monday! i just found this thread and i am totally new to forums as well. Very glad to hear all of this very valuable feedback. As I read from the beginning i was happy, then sad, then really happy in the end. Heather, I'v been waiting on an orange frit hurricane but if it isn't available i would like the latticino droop 5in. please. I hope that my order will arrive soon, i'v been watching for the mailman outside my window religiously and have been strucken with letdown. My order # is 3727. Thats the last 4. Very excited that I found this thread! Thanks to everyone.

 

And as far as price versus quality, i would much rather invest in a pipe that will last me a long time, even if i am clumsy. Sometimes these things are magical and don't break even when dropped several times. Probably just luck, and hardwood floor. heh. eggshell pipes bad.

 

ok, so you got me. My piece showed up today, the lighter orange is instead white on the hurricane, but thats cool with me. I got it because with a blue lighter it is Auburn Univ. colors. War eagle. I am satisfied now. CGP will hear from me again at xmas time.

 

I would rather have american made pieces. And i would definately rather pay alittle more for quality pieces that will last. I say keep using the glass your using, i've dropped all of my pieces, except the bubbler, and all have held up just fine. Not even a crack. Keep up the great work CGP, ill be ordering again soon.

im pretty sure its just a wholesale of the same place. you have to spend 150 minimum on that site but you do end up getting more stuff.

 

Thats the person who was ripping me off. This person THINKS they've pilfered my glass connections too. But their loyalty is with me.....


The reason this person has this site, is they are supposed to purchase the glass they sell from me, so I make my part. I did all the work and so that was the deal.

But since this person was exposed for what they are, a thief, they think they can do what they please.

Too clarify, CGP is in NO way associated with Spoonywholesepipes. Although it is my creation.

If anyone decides they want to deal with this thief, all I can say is Caveat Emptor. And keep in mind, they have no way of delivering any glass they sell.

CGP, I am VERY interested in purchasing from your site.
I just sent you two e-mails (one a followup).
I will say right now, that you could get hundreds of dollars from my friends and I from future purchases IF you do not mess you up. I will refer your site to no end.
However, I currently do not trust your site COMPLETELY.
It appears that the only safe bet is to post on the internet, and then all problems are fixed. So I am posting.
As a "tester" order (trying out your site), I have sent the following email:

ive placed two orders with CGP and they have both came just fine. my first order was with a money order and i got everything just fine. the second was with my debit card and it was shipped out the same day . i would say just add another item to you order to make it over 50 bucks. you should have no problem with getting your order and now it might even be faster since you came here :sunny:

BTW the pipes you have chosen are pretty thin i would highly recommend one of the inside out pipes.

 

just add a glass poker for $2.50

 

Thank you very much Don for your advice and for starting this thread! It is good to talk to someone else who has been through the decision-making process. I consider myself an informed buyer. I do LOTS of research before buying anything.
And I HATE to be a cheapskate and abuse the $50 bonus, but quite a few of my friends need pipes and we are pretty decided. If we spent more than $50, we would have to get a $100 gift certificate. This will all be EASILY compensated to chunkyglasspipes when our order comes, and it is perfect, and I can tell all my friends about how great CGP is. And then we can buy more expensive things later.

 

Thanks for the suggestion sly! The problem is that the order CANNOT go over $50.00. This is the amount on the visa gift card.

 

dont worry about the two dollars.... all orders are going out same day currently, expcept 12 inch beaker and 12 inch benders. they come in tomorrow.... if you have tried to email me, im way behind trying to play catchup. im not ignoring anyone believe me.
