Neil Finn and Tim Finn. Split Enz and Crowded House were great I think. JBT has to take the cake for nowadays.
I like a lot of the latest bands at the moment... Grinspoon Powderfinger Regurgitator Spiderbait As for INXS, they should have called it quits after Michael Hutchence died, they are not the same without him...and there are people that agree with me too.
I definitely agree with that. They're not the same and they look funny with a lead singer that's half their age. I'm sure MH is rolling in his grave.
I've gotta agree with Lacuna...John Williamson all the way! Also Little Birdy, Alabaster Box, Speaking of Sarah...JIMMY BARNES! MWA HA HA HA HA! John "I swear this time is the very last time" Farnham! OK I got a bit crazy there. ....Oh and there are two great someones none of us have mentioned.......................................................................................................Rolf Harris and Slim Dusty! Watch me wallabies feed mate, watch me wallabies feed, their a dangerous breed mate, watch me wallabies feed! And who could forget the grasshopper loose in Queensland that was as big as any goose and liked drinking pineapple juice!

all great aussie artists mentioned so far, great list guys! i love a band from Sydney, though noone really heard of them ( i only found out about them coz they played at the Garbage concert). Theyre called Silo, they have an EP out at the moment and i can honestly say they rock any one else heard of them/heard them play?? i feel so alone lol! xxx ash
At least INXS has a similar sound, while it will never be the same without Hutchence, it is good to see the boys back. I love ACDC (i know they were in NZ first although the Young brothers were from Scotland) All you have to do is hear them talk and it's obvious they're Aussie Thirsty Merc Midnight Oil Daddy Cool The Living End Human Nature (coz they can actually sing)
I stil think Eagle Rock should've beaten friday on my mind for best song of all time. They're both good songs but.............
Eagle Rock kicks ass... Friday On My Mind gets on my nerves after a while, but Eagle Rock just.... rocks.
