    That's unfortunate for you.

How do you critically examine christianity, find it lacking, and actually manage to regress to something arguably even more byzantine, convoluted and arbitrary? Maybe tomorrow you can "decide to believe" that trees grow money and have your groceries paid for by the falling autumn leaves?

"consider myself a kabbalistic magician. It is essentially ancient mystic Judaism and gets its understanding of the universe by understanding the kabbalistic tree of life and how it works. I still believe in a creative force...that is divinity. I also believe in the angelic realm and they are the threshold humanity has to cross in order to be manifested into physical beings. I believe in the Garden. It is layered over top of our physical plane and this is the realm of faeries and such. We were once in the garden but were kicked out for bad behavior and have since taken physical form by being pushed down through malkuth across the angelic threshold. Physical form is the outer most representation of the spirit or inner realm. Jesus to me was a kabbalistic magician that climed too high up the abyss(the angelic overworld that exists in the inner realms) and it caused him to get nailed to a tree. He was just a man though. Deities are all real but are separate from Divinity. They are simply a natural part of the fauna here from the inner realms that have interacted with humanity, especially when humans still had the ancient esoteric wisdom to do so."

    Hello.Mothman.... :)

Just a curious question I have asked other people with similar beliefs......What are the other creatures that share this planet with us? Were they thrown out of the graden, too, for bad behavior of some kind?

and looking over this thread.....animal scarifices seem to be the most barbaric of beliefs....
Where did that originate? Must have been with some demented, evil sick minds. :(

The best argument for a god is when a player makes a touchdown and points up in thankfulness. I guess when he fails, he should point down and blame it on that bad guy.

God's on that football scene like white on rice.

Sounds like a horrible movie to me.

Mr. Writer. My knowledge doesn't come from guess work or simply studying literature. I am an occultist and most people in my community know better than to come onto a non magical forum and say the things I say because of how people that don't study or practice magic will respond which is often negatively and we become easy targets for the ignorant. I am certain of the things I say on here, not because I have faith or belief, I know because in my practice I actively engage spirits and beings that tell me so. I am not special or gifted, nor am I crazy which will more than likely be your next arrogant remark. It took me about two years of hard practice to make any headway in regards to spiritual interaction but up until that point it was more studying and trying to understand this point of view. I am not a Christian who needs you to believe in some god or to agree with me. I have no concern for what you believe or don't believe. If you do ever get off your high horse long enough to look into magic (like I did) so that you can test it for yourself (like I did) then I will recommend two books to help you get started. The first is "The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Ben Clifford, this will give you a rudimentary understanding of qabalah as it is viewed within the western myth tradition. The second book is "Magical Knowledge Book 1 Foundations". This book will give you a safe starting point (yes you can hurt yourself going about this the wrong way) and exercises to put into practice so that you can have the same experiences and see for yourself. If you don't have any interest in doing any of this.... then take it for what it is or in the butt. I don't care.

Moonglow, there are Angels and Demons and fae folk and piskies and sleepers in the land and Underworld Godesses and the list goes on. You don't need drugs to interact with them nor do you need to summon them with circles in and stars and vibrating Hebrew words but that is one way to do it. No they were not kicked out they are still in the garden or spirit/inner/astral realm. Humans are in the physical for now and it is part of our ongoing evolution and the physical realm is the outer most expression of power. Some of the astral realm is superimposed on top of our own.

just as with more dominant beliefs, these are words written and spoken by human persons.
i too know of things unseen.
yet i know equally well of their being under no obligation to resemble words and concepts our human egos, and only our human egos, prompt us to feel like we have to know about them.

what is real, is far more vast and limitless then anything we think we know.
science is not false, and what is beyond science exists also.
but not within the narrow confines of the words and concepts we have created for ourselves, again at the prompting of ego's demand, for ourselves to feel capable of omniscience.

there is no infallibility, and the only hierarchy is that of probability. nor is conflict of any kind, inherent in the nature of a limitless diversity.

there are certainly things greater then ourselves, and also less, and much we have to be grateful for to both. but there is no infallibility to be found in this universe nor any other.

nor is anything moral, that would put obeisance and subservience to itself, ahead of the avoidance of causing harm.
