God and Communism

As an aside, psychopaths present some evidence of seperate moral drives. They have no moral compass requiring empathy, becuase of a demonstrably underdeveloped area at the front of the brain. Yet they retain other moral drives, the strength of which depends on their personality, such as loyalty to incrowd, respect for hierachy, respect for rules, even respect for purity and sanctity. Serial killers are psychopaths who also have a low respect for rule. But there are plenty of rule abiding psychopaths in e.g. business, armed forces, religion; they are absolutely ruthless within the letter of the rules.

 

It's a bit more subtle than you suggest. After my wife died our daughters stayed with her sister for a while. She took them to her church and bible study. I found a book they were taught from in which an entire chapter was devoted to why Christians should NOT tolerate the beliefs of others.

It's the "better than thou" attitude Christianity fosters that promotes the belief that others are "less than human." Once others have been defined as lesser beings, it's much easier to torture and kill.

I'm not saying that nature plays no role in behavior, what I am saying, though, is that role is very subtle. ie, one may be predisposed to a higher degree of anger, but environment will determine the manner in which the manifests.

Heredity plays no role in religion except the innate desire to belong to the group. If religion is a requirement of the group, one will likely acquiesce.

I DON'T KNOW OF a single Communist, Agnostic, or Atheist who thinks pitilessly torturing countless human "sinners" for eternity is moral. ​

However, I DO KNOW – as does the overwhelming majority of humanity – billions of Bible believers who swear that by their professed supreme moral code, “God” is entitled to torture possibly TRILLIONS of their liberal opponents forever. Simply because a primitive woman – as anyone with a pulse could have predicted – was snared in God's premeditated, utterly sadistic, distinctly criminal trap.​

Of course every **** and his dog knows believers are lying like a cheap rug to save their manifestly IMMORAL arses. That doesn't alter my contention that these bastards are lower than the basic wage. ​

The supremacy of the Bible's moral code over Communism's (code for atheist) morals is what we are arguing here. And I'm saying that anyone who prefers the former over the latter, together with their sitting-on-the-fence fellow travellers, ought to be shunned like a shitty pair of underpants by humanists. ​

Any torture or killing purely in the name of a political ideological doctrine is considered moral by the perpetrators. No different to killing in the name of religious doctrine.

I'm a mystical communist, and I view God to be something like the universal spirit of the Hagelian dialectic. I think the condition of consciousness can be evolved through embracing love and our connection to the whole over embracing fear. The love that Christ had for humanity is the kind of love that needs to be embraced for the dialectic to be evolved further.
