It may be their opinion that they like them, but its a well-known fact that they suck at "making" music. Surely you agree with this..... I mean, you do like The Kinks.....

 

I used to like them ...

I liked them very much but now i think their music sucks ...

 

You can't tell anyone what to like or not to like.
When I was a kid I liked bands older kids hated... it just made me like those bands more til I outgrew them. Thats the way of the world.
Each to his or her own.. But I gotta tell ya.. Good Charlotte are one of the most obnoxious derivitive faux punk bands I have ever heard in my life..

 

And it's not a fact it's an opinion.
I have a varied taste that ranges from bands like The Kinks all the way to bands like Good Charlotte.

 

Good Charlotte is for twats.

I can appreciate all forms of music, really, I like alot of pop, and alot of punk. Good Charlotte however really can't be classed as 'Good' in any sense of the word. It isn't a case of taste or opinion it's a case of them actually being awful, really, unbelievably awful.

 

This has got to be one of the top 10 worse bands ever!

 

It is a fucking opinion. That's your opinion, it's not a fact so stop trying to fucking pull it off as one.

 

Good Charlotte is BAD music, they are BAD musicians. In my mind that's a fact, and I personally think anyone who appreciates them musically must either be going through a phase, be under 16 or have something wrong with their hearing.

 

You can't twist fact and opinion that way, idiot. That's all I'm saying. It's not fact, it's JUST your opinion. NOT fact. No matter how you phrase it.

There's a difference between opinion and musical criticism. Good Charlote is not music, they have no lyrical or instrumental talents. Thier lyrics and themes are empty and brainless.

If the person who is criticising has musical knowledge, then it is not opinion... it is analytical criticism.

 

I'm a music student, and when I replied to that I had two other music students sat right next to me. And both of them agreed that it's the same fucking thing.
