*walks away quietly* First act strat copy, eh? Or was it the les paul copy? You're probably going to have a hard time with the tuners, to say the least, in the long run. The thought of sending you a Fender Strat for Christmas just crossed my mind. But.... if you're happy, hey.
Haha, I'm not sure.... but it is a walmart guitar, and just about everything from there sucks, I'm starting to get second thoughts.... luckily it only cost $12 or something, and I was told by my mommy that if I wanted to I could still go check out Dave's...yeah, I'm gonna do that. Thanks for adding that 'to say the least part'
Yeah... I know about First Act. I've done some work on them... I put $500 worth of aftermarket parts on one which ended up becoming a Ford Pinto with a Rolls Royce grill.
hahaha..... haha....ha..... you've talked me out of it ONLY because you are the guitar god of these forums. If it weren't for that, I'd be screwing myself over. Thanks!
walmart sells gutairs ? damn i wish id seen this earlier its the nightly business report now damn i once saw a really great thing on the sixties and the sanfancisco sceene and all sorts of good stuff i like pbs but you know i love the biography channel its so great its a biography of janis joplin now im still waiting to see a jim morrison bio they have bios of everyone but ive never seen jims damn educational tv kicks ass ~peace
Yep, sadly, wal-mart sells guitars... I love public broadcasting and all the educational channels. MTV sold out.
Only Jim morrison bio I've seen was 'The Doors'... A & E had a few bios of rock 'n' roll musicians not too long ago, Hendrix, Janis, Lennon, MacCartney, Jagger, and some others that I missed... but no Morrison.
I know... hahahaha. I love it. For some reason, my dad likes Clapton but not cream... pfft... baby boomers, what can I say.
I remember watching the Neil Young bio on...I think it was A&E. It was good and very informational, I might say.
I like his new solo stuff... I love his new lineup with Nathan East, David Sancious, Steve Gadd, Andy Fairweathr Low, and Billy Preston. It's great... The old clapton was rough around the edges but he was a founder for the British invasiona and that's where the whole "Clapton is God" thing came from. Now clapton is basically like the pope...
thats awesome yeah i love the biography channel it shows all of those a&e biographies all the time ive seen a bunch of those bios i havent seen cream damn that would be good but yeah ive been waiting to see morrisons bio for a long time but it just aint coming i have a dvd with an interview with the doors and its just amazing i absolutely love learning about those rockers one night my friend caitie sat me down and took out a bunch of books and magazines and taught me all about the stones its just great
Sadly, yes... I never even knew they did a bio on Neil... I assume they have one on Dylan too *cries even more* Never tell a folkie these types of things.
