That's like... my favorite Robert Johnson song EVER!!!!! I used to sit in the basement and play it every day after school when I had my other computer down there set up with all my recording crap.

Oh man. I remember this. George you would have loved the atmosphere there during this song. It was just like everyone held their breath. It was crazy.

I was holding it.... I had it on surround sound at 380 watts and it's 10:34pm and somehow, I really don't care what time it is.

He's the king of the hardtail strat. Everybody else blocks their tremolos...

Well, except for people like SRV... not too many blues players are famous for using them... 'cept SRV, Hendrix, and maybe more lesser known types like Scott Henderson...

You have Steve Vai and Jeff Beck using their trems but they're from the metal and hard rock age and Vai is from poison...

Ooh looky, it's ZZ Top... Billy Gibbons. I had a Big Heart Coridicin Medicine Bottle slide signed by him... it was given to me by a local blues musician as a gift... and some bastard stole it. Actually... those bluesbottle slides were army spec urine sample bottles... they get them for cheap and market them as slides these days. They're all leftover from mostly Vietnam.

Tush... hahaha. I have fond memories of this song. I used to go out on fishing boats in NC and some of them that I knew would take me out for free with them and I'd just hang out and help just because I loved being on the water... for some reason the captains always listened to this song all the time...

Some nice liks on cocaine :D I live for solos... playing everything in between doesn't matter to me... I can't play rhythm with electrics too good and play lead at the same time.... I can, but I don't care for it.

I nearly bought this Jimi Hendrix dvd, but I decided to wait until I found 'Forty Licks' at the army base. But that ended up costing too much, so I'm getting that as one of my XMas presents.

    Oh!

I tried out this guitar at my moms work today (Walmart)..and wow, I fell in love with that thing, she knows the dude that works by them and he plugged in the amp and I played most of 'Sunshine of Your Love'...how I still remembered that song is amazing... but wow, I had to get that guitar, so I put it on layaway.... that's my other XMas present... I'm getting a whole two, woooooooooooo!

Yes, a Walmart guitar. Laugh away if you will :D, but that thing fucking kicked ass.
