Not an ignorant fool, have nothing against you personally, just have a problem with people who basically say "I don't care what the facts, science, other peoples experiences are, my opinion is right!!!" which is essentially what you have done concerning schizophrenia.

Many of the statements you have made about it are completely wrong which a brief investigation of the literature would confirm.

Why are you shutting yourself off from learning and growing?
That is what you do whenever you declare that you are going to hold on to your opinions even in the face of evidence to the contrary.
don't make sense to me.

I'm not the one exhibiting ignorance here. ;)

I may be malicious at times, but I'm not wrong in my assessment.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture introduced the food pyramid in 1992. The meat and dairy industries mounted a response because they felt that their food groups were being marginalized. The previous USDA chart from 1956 to 1992 was not heavily biased toward grains and was equally divided into four basic food groups: meat, dairy, grains, and fruits/vegetables.

The USDA food pyramid of the 1990's appeared on various breakfast cereal boxes. The entire back side the box of a particular brand of corn flakes in the U.S. showed the USDA food pyramid and had the title "Pyramid Power!" It was a great selling point for breakfast cereal companies.

A long-running indeterminate entity is the "serving". What exactly is a "serving"?

It's crazy. Breakfast cereals are one of the worst things a person can eat, much less to start their day off with, because it ensures that their blood sugar will crash and that they will be hungry again just a few hours later and need to eat, but it absolutely benefits the food companies to have people hungry all the time.

The food pyramid is a horrible joke. Then at the top of the pyramid where you have fats/oils, it says to "use sparingly," as if all fats and oils are to be treated equally.

Food must be eaten and consumed. Its a benefit to consumers to move it off the shelves before it spoils and rots away. However many the plasticized cereals will last for 100yrs on the shelf ..
