'The color of a mans skin is of no more significance then the color of his eye' - Jah Rastafari If you call yourself a Rastafari, yet you dont believe what Rastafari said is true, then is that not hypocritical? If you were blind, would you care what color i am? Or is it that your blind now, and all you can see is the outside? Go drink your alcohol, dont point your finger unless your hands are clean. It doesnt matter to me what you think about what i know, nobody can judge me but the Creator himself, and you shouldnt be fixated on judging me, but how you will be judged.
my last post was kind of rude. my apologies. maybe we could simply have a discussion of rastafarI? could you adress these issues? and maybe we could have civil conversation i dont care what color you are, but the rasta faith does. the first two principles of the rasta faith as prescribed by Leonard Howell (author of the rasta faith) 1 . a hatred for the White race 2. the superiority of the Black race i find it hard to understand why a white person would feel so strongly for an afrocentric faith. as long as we are quoting selassie, let me throw this one in when asked about the rastas that came to worship him: "I have heard of that idea. I also met certain Rastafarians. I told them clearly that I am a man, that I am mortal, and that I will be replaced by the oncoming generation, and that they should never make a mistake in assuming or pretending that a human being is emanated from a deity." sorry gotta go for now, ill be back later to discuss. peace
The way i see it brother is that to follow the Rastafari faith you must follow Rastafari, as that is who we are named after. Rastafari said that all man is equal and so I man know that, Leonard Howell said that white man is evil because that is all he had seen in his life and that is the evil of the white man, likewise all i have seen in my life is evil of the white man. Evil doesnt care what color you are. They only care what they can steal from the righteous. Rastafari also said that 'no man should question the faith of others, for nobody can know the will of the almighty', im not saying you are questioning my faith, merely stating that nobody can know the will of God because we are only human and not capable of that kind of knowledge. Haile Selassie is the living God, he never condemned Rastafari for believing he is God and he never acknowledged that fact as far as i am to believe. If i bleed, my blood is red, same as everyone else, so i dont feel strongly for an Afro-centric faith as such, i see myself as feeling strongly for a Humanistic Faith which can lead the world as a whole into a peaceful existence through the glory of Almighty Jah. Jah Bless brother.
That's really up to you. If its annoying to you, separate it. If not, leave it be for a while and see what happens. If it gets worse, fix it. If not, just try splitting it a little and let it dread.
wtf? i dont even remember posting this, i think maybe i quoted the wrong thing......................................................... this doesnt sound like Me to Me...
Hey, dude. 1st of all, I'm white and I've been rasta for a year. 2nd of all, go do some more research of Rastafari. You know nothing of it it sounds like. and 3rd of all, your gonna go have a beer? Alcohol is the destruction of the nation, brother. Not rasta at all. I'm sorry, but your very pathetic
Yeah, Adam has a better understanding of it. nat, what are you gonna do? Hate on us for being White, baldhead Rastas that don't speak Iharic naturally? Excuse us for being as God made us. Howell and Garvey may have wanted the Elder Rastas to hate all white people but Selassie himself said all men are equal. Stop being contradictory.
im pretty sure Nat. Phil. said hes going to have a beer to be spiteful. and i am dreading my hair but my family and i go to jamaica alot and i do not want the rastas in the mountains accuse me of being rastafarI
