Well Massachusetts does have gay marriage and even expanded their law to include out of state couples, and here in New Hampshire civil unions are now recognized you might be right Hotwater

i agree that marriage is not so great... i'm not all into getting married. but why should it be any different for someone based on their sexual orientation? it's like saying blacks and whites can't get married. that used to be law you know. but commonlaw isn't even allowed between straight couples in some states. i just moved from virginia, where commonlaw marriage or domestic partnerships were illegal no matter who you are. and the law technically still states that it is illegal to have sexual relations of any sort with someone you are not legally married to. so you know, the answer isn't always so easy as "just go get a commonlaw marriage."
