I'm bisexual and my partner's a lesbian. We both have a ton of gay and lesbian jokes, most of which could be considered fairly offensive if they came from a straight person. I love gay jokes and I don't mind if I'm the butt of the joke. I'm a former stand up comic. I told a lot of gay jokes and used gay and lesbian stereotypes in my act. It's all about context. Was the person telling the joke doing it to be hateful? If not, then it's fine. Most of my friends are straight males, and I have no problem with them telling a gay joke in my presence.
I make jokes about pretty much everything. Altho some people do tend to take them farther than they are needed to go.
jokes are jokes unless someone is saying them to be hurtful to another person than its not cool What bothers me the most is kids and adults saying "oh that shit is soo gay" like gay is the new bad.
