Gay bands/artists?

I had my parents buy me a Ricky Martin CD, when I wasnt even out of elementary school

Im quite ashamed of myself.

 

I also looked up andrew whiteman from broken social scene, I couldn't find anything on him being gay.

 

He has diverted focus well and is very private about his sex life. That being said, he's been "out" and about in New York City and on some gay beaches (with his partner.) If you listen to interviews, his response is that he loves "all" people or he refuses to talk about his private life. He does, however, live one.

 

The interview I saw had him saying something along the lines of "I'm not gay, I'm just gay friendly". I assumed he was straight and just playing on the ambiguity - if dudes and chicks can both fancy him that's not going to harm his record sales. I don't really care, but I also found it very hard to find out one way or the other because so many people were just insisting that he was gay without any actual evidence. If he is gay, fair play to him, I don't see how it's anyone's duty to be "out and proud" anymore.

 

Well, it all depends on what genre you like - there are gay artists/bands in all.

It's Kevin Drew. Or perhaps Brendan Canning. I think that it's the former, but one of them is gay.

 

Has been been confirmed Ricky Martin is gay...I thought that was an untrue rumour.

 

in a response to the Broken Social Scene comments, Kevin Drew isn't gay, I think he was married and he definitely dated Feist (hence the F on his wrist) Brendan Canning though, I have no idea about and Andrew Whiteman is married to Ariel Whiteman
