Yeah, it's amazing the propaganda the war machine puts out...

99% of America has no idea even why he was even to be killed...

The other 1% know exactly why and how it profits them...

Also, I state again...Why don't we do this to our own political leaders? They do the same things to us...but yet we set quietly like good little sheeple awaiting the slaughter...being happy as long as they pretend to be our Shepard and feed us...

Honestly, I really want to move out of this country...But Switzerland is the only place I can think to go...Not even sure if that's a safe place anymore...

Everyone knows how brutal a dictator Gaddafi was.
Everyone knows what a brutal dictator Saddam was.
Everyone knows how brutal a dictator Mubarak was.

But why doesn't anyone realize that the ONLY way to keep these islamic countries together was thru brute force?

And why were these countries put together in the first place? They are made up of tribes and ethnic/religious groups that normally don't want to be united.

They are put together by Western powers to further their own economic interests. The brutal dictators are supported by Western powers so long as they kowtow to them. They will prop them up with whatever they need to continue to brutalize their own people. So long as the oil or money keeps flowing, the West cares little what happens to the people, despite claims otherwise.

Once the dictators decide to chart their own course and NOT follow the desires of their colonial masters, suddenly they become enemies and the West unleashes its superior military on them. And then the welfare of the oppressed citizens suddenly becomes the issue!

Such hypocrisy cannot go unanswered by the masses anymore. It's time to kick out the Imperialists and take back what belongs to the people!

In Gaddafi's case, he was helping Africans become more independent from their colonial masters. He was doing a LOT against the West and that's why he was toppled, not because of his brutality or the welfare of his people.

That is an outright lie. It's about the oil and where that money goes...

I dont understand why nobody asks where the Libyan gold has gone?

Seems like Gaddafi didnt have any of the 144 tons of gold on him when they arrested him...?

I have to agree with you. It's sad, who benefits most from Gaddafi's death? The Libyan people? Oil competitors and buyers? (US capitalism aka. the 'economy')

The fact that so many people buy into the "brutal dictator" excuse just indicates how far we have to go before the imperialists get what they really deserve.

Excellent post , well said ! I'm sure the c.i.a. is hard at work installing a new puppet dictator more friendly to the west , that they can control , own and give money to while he again brutally oppresses his people . and their goal in controlling Libya's 2 % global oil production .

People need to wake the fuck up , and stop believing what this media tells them about the United States foreign polices and practices . Some of the most brutal dictator regimes on this planet have been funded aided and backed by our own government ! Time after time it never becomes an issue , until that said dictator doesn't want to play ball with this government anymore , or has other ideas to cut them out of the profit loop .

Then all of the sudden they become the worlds most evil person , " terrorist" , war criminal , human rights violator or "dictator" . The truth is they don't give a rats ass about humanity , innocent death or oppression . They are perfectly fine with all evil human atrocities , as long as it suits them financially . And when it no longer does , they flip it around and use it against that regime , to topple their government .

It's the definition of being a fucking hypocrite . And they are ALWAYS there in the shadows playing games where many innocent people die because of it . And the sad part is most of these brainwashed slobs believe whatever they are told to believe .

Obviously the US and other countries could not support the NTC unless they had a bank in which to deposit funds. Any other Libyan bank was initially still under the control of Gaddafi. I'm not surprised at this at all. It was necessary for the revolution.

If gaddafi was cleared of the Lockerbie bombings as Mark said, why did he pay money to the families of the victims?

I agree, its pretty disgusting how often and how nastily the US is involved in violence around the world for 'profit' and that only. It doesn't matter if people are fighting for freedom or the autonomy of their country, it doesn't matter if the side we back is committing genocide (Cambodia, Guatemala etc), all that matters is that some rich evil sobs get richer.

It is hypocritical of the US to now demand 'transparency' in the investigation of Qaddafi's death. How about some transparency in the investigation, or just HAVE an investigation into what happened, if anything, to bin Laden! The myth makers, liers and spin masters are busily making up the 'news' to keep the sheeple happy and the bastards in power.

As it has been proven by the occcupy movement, the media does NOT
show you all the facts. In fact they only show you want they want you
to see. When you want the truth you need to research it yourself and
that means going to a library or getting involved.

He was cleared AFTER he was convicted.
It was proven that evidence against him had been manufactured.

This war comes at a time when Gaddafi had begun persuing financial
compensation for the wrongful sancations that had been placed on Lybia.

In simple language the trial that convicted him was a farce and it was
proven that it was a farce. So Gaddafi wanted the money back plus costs
against those that lied to convict him.

More than 40 years ago, the 27-year-old colonel Muammar Gaddafi masterminded a successful revolution that toppled King Idris, 40 yrs from now they will topple the next King..

I'm not sure if there is an english subtittled version of "Lockerbie re-visted."

For anyone interested in why this war and Kahafi's death were needed by the
United States to avoid paying what some estimate would be over a trillion dollars in
    financial compensation.

I recomend as a place to start your reseach that you get a copy of this film http://tegenlicht.vpro.nl/afleveringen/2008-2009/lockerbie-revisited.html

yeah.. That's the quote Tommy Lee Jones character brings up about "the revolution" , TLJ could probably pull off Gaddadi in a movie getting old looking.
