Yeah it doesn't really matter how old you are. Some people your age are more mature than people my age. Also, age doesn't decide what you have been through, seen, or had to endure. I too have been through/seen some horrible shit, as I am sure we all have.

BTW, 100 posts about getting ripped off is bound to teach someone a lesson, whether it is Ebene or someone else.

Ebene, a lot of people here have been through a lot of stuff too, probably a lot of stuff that you haven't gone through. I know mynameisjake got busted with a lot of shit, Willy has had his own struggles as has sir_smokes_alot and Jared, and those are just a couple of examples from a couple kids not much older than you and not muuch younger than me. Dont' even start at the experiences some of hte older folks have had ie ranger joker and 2ces and I'm sure they've been through a hell of a lot more than we'll ever know. This is why we're a community to help each other see our mistakes and improve upon them. When the older folks bless us with their wisdom, TAKE IT.

I did feel bad for Jared man, I'd kinda like him to pop back in and let us know how things have turned out for him. It has been quite a while since I've seen him in the MJ area.

Speaking of not seeing in awhile, anyone hear from JoJo at all? That kid cracked me up....I know he started or attempted to start his own forum but I never made it over there.

Yeah it would be nice to hear from Jared and JoJo. Like I said earlier, the last time I heard from Jared was when he was asking me about xanax. I hope he didn't over do it.

The JoJoJuana forums are still active, as far as I know. I went over there after I got out of job corps to see if it was still going, and it was.

I miss all of the people that used to be here; TWAT for instance, and concealedculture. Most of these people left when Skip started that whole "off-topic posts" policy and have never been heard from since. I even got banned for a while, but I came back. It's hard to kick a Hip Forums addiction.

 

as sad as it is to say, hipforums addictions are hard to kick. When I was 16 and 17 I had a real bad forums addiction and then I sort of forgot about it during my senior yr of highschool. One night during my soph yr at college I was sitting at the computer home from work and all coked out and i fell right back into it, thankfully. but the forms had undergone a huge change and the only names I recognized were Nesta and Matt_In_vegas

 

Yeah man. Nobody is above fuckin someone over for a little cash, especially hobos. They need to eat food/drink alcohol/smoke weed like the rest of us, and hustling people is usually how they do these things. They are regular people, just like the rest of us, and regular people are crual and manipulative by nature. Trust no one, until they display their loyalty in a way that leaves you with zero doubt as to their character.

I hope you are right about Pops, Ebene. It would be a shame for him to throw away your trust for a little cash, but that's how things work.

If my memory serves me correctly, which it rarely does, Matt used to be super active in the MJ forums of old with tons of great advice. Similar to rangerdanger now. But i could be wrong on that.

nesta has a large variety of knowledge. very interesting dude and I agree a trip with him would be a valuble experience.
