For those of you who can't find one negative word to say about ISIS, what would an organization have to do to earn your contempt, other than be elected by the American people?

 

Isis is not an imaginary boogeyman created by the United States - they are a boogeyman USED by the US to sway public opinion in support of further middle eastern involvement.


Isis has created 11 million Syrian refugees who know better than any Americans that the boogeyman is real. Not everything has to do with America. Gah, what a self centered nation we are!

 

Obama is just a fictional character that PR made up, for LOLs.

 

Yeah, ISIS is just hilarious. Their comedy is priceless. Heads chopped off, ancient documents and religious sites destroyed, millions of refugees homeless, people slaughtered.

Golly, I wish it was on TV like Viet Nam so we could lighten our days some.

I agree with the Rat that there are a very few people that run the whole rig behind the scenes. BUT---those are the people that are virtually untouchable by us citizens. Our bought and paid for legislators are in their service, so consequently the military-industrial complex has sway over EVERYTHING that happens here and overseas. That's the way it lays out-----but to dismiss the murderous, insane actions of ALL these groups-ISIS, Boko Haram, The Taliban ---is reminiscent of Pearl Harbor and the delay the US showed then--wait until we were actually attacked to begin to mobilize for war. All those I mentioned are bad motherfuckers and they will have to be dealt with.

AND---I want to know who has lost any rights and what they are. ( I'm not speaking about the blacks, womens rights , gays or any other "sub groups" that are STILL fighting for their full rights.)

 

I sometimes read Al Jazeera Balkans news on FB, and I can't believe all the comments...and to think people like that are only a border away. Spooky.

 

Don't worry--Rat thinks they're funny. Perhaps they'll bring their brand of comedy to your neighborhood. Gee--wouldn't that be fun!!

 

Unfortunately, American narcissism is at a point where most readers skim over things like this without pausing to consider the possibility that there might be some truth to it.

Maybe Alan Alda can come out of retirement for the sitcom. [roll eyes]

 

We in the US believe in imposing our will upon others whether they like it or not.

We claim it’s not based on christian ideology because it would make us appear as bad as the radical muslims we’re trying to convert.

Sadly, these photos are no worse than the ones taken during the civil war. How many wars must go on and on before we finally accept that war is a mistake? Here and in other countries? Killing people is not the solution. Communication is all. But I guess a bullet to the head is so much easier? We need to find a better way to connect to one another. ASAP.
