Indeed. Erasmus is one of our many Christians who spouts lukewarm hypocrisy. So, according to his Bible-- Jesus has already spewed him out!
No he hasn't! In Jesus' eyes, Erasmus is the only Christian truly fit to serve at the right hand of the father! In fact, Jesus is overrated! God's eye is shifting more towards Erasmus ... Jesus better save humanity or something, before he gets the boot! ^_^
i agree partly with the guy that started this thread in the whole fuck christianity thing, but theres no need to make a public issue about it. let the people believe what they will. if their going to be stupid and follow something withought any proof and saying its a matter of "faith" so be it. i have no problem with any of the religions, and overal think satanism is the most correct, but thast not really a religion... i just dont think christians should preach their shit to people, aswell as any other religion. if the person is not christian, leave it! dont fucking convert him or her! the other day this christian girl tried to convert me, since i do not believe in god or afterlife, or event that jesus existed truly as the son of god. if you really have to preach, do it but not in an offencive way. the way this girl put it was "ok. you dont believe in god, or any of that. best case senario fro you is : you die, and thats it. nothing more. worse case senario : you die and go burn in hell for all eternity because u said shit about christianity and god." is that really a reason to convert? no! dont say fuck to christianity, say fuck you to people with a mentality like that.
Well I think you are being a little to simplistic in your approach to the Christian faith. You would actually have to work at ignoring all the historical evidence which supports the Biblical accounts, and you must ignore all of the prophecies that are being fulfilled even in the day we live. Which makes me believe you have not spent much time doing the research into the claims of the Bible. Christians preach to others because that is what Christ has instructed us to do. Hell is a real place, and I have heard demons myself speak of this place, and they don't like it either. Jesus was spoken of in the Old Testament hundreds of years before He appeared on earth, and Jesus fulfilled the three hundred prophecies of the Old Testament. Jesus was the blood sacrifice. All who follow Christ will have a pardon for all the sins they have commited. Without Christ, there is no pardon. If you really want to know the truth of the Bible, the evidence is there, and it is abundant. Yet the Bible tells us that many, if not most people, will reject Gods gift to the world.
you see! your one of those religiouse fanatics too... how do you know it truly is true? i agree that there may be evidence and stuff, but you should not go out of your way to save others, who do not want to convert anyway, to a religion wich is probably FALSE. god was created in mans image, not visa versa. i believe that there may be some force out there, but i dont think it is a force that judges us. we judge ourselves. if we think were a good person, then we are to ourselves. maybe not to others, but thats unimportant. do some research on satanism. it isnt anything bad, liek the church says it is, but its a verry deep ideology and philosophy, and it has some of the similar beliefs of budhism. i just think its better to keep ur mind open to all religions, but not let any of them in fully. stay nutral! im sure the muslims preach that their religion is correct, just like you do. believe what you will, but open your mind to other possibilitys. i used to be christian, but i did a lot of research on religion. in the end now, im agnostic and live by principles that aply to my daily life, and i do not strive to go out of my way to help people who do not deserve it. i agree with some of jesuses teachings, but i think some are too extreem. turn the right cheek? what the fuck is that supposed to meen? if u turn the right cheek, ur done for. if anybody truly followed the christian religion point for point, they would be sucking societys balls. believe in god if you want, but i dont think you should trust in him to make things happen. the only things that are good will only come if you set your mind to it, and not because some invisible spiritual force is helping you. in this sense, ur god shoudl be your will power.
Jesus was explaining to the Jews how good a person would have to be to get to heaven. Of course the Jews knew no one could be that good. Turn the other cheek ect.. Jesus was telling them, there was only one way to get to heaven, and it was not by working your way there. Because no one could be that good. God may be invisible to us now, but often His actions are very obvious. I recall failing a job interview and came home some what depressed. I was younger and was heading up to my room when I heard this voice. It simply stated that I had done everything but pray about it. So with that, I continued upstairs and kneeled down by my mothers bed. I said a simple prayer and told God that I knew He knew that I needed a job, and I told Him that whatever happens now it will be because of Him, and then I said Amen. As soon as I said the letter A in the Amen, the phone next to me began to ring, and when I picked it up there was a man on the other end. He said that he had just picked up my paper work that I had left two weeks earlier, and then ask if I could start work at 8 a.m. the following monday. I kept that job for a year, and it really helped me get established. I have had many answers like this, and after a while you begin to understand, that all these occurances are not happening because of dumb luck. God is real, and His name is Jesus Christ. In rare times I have heard His voice. He is a wonderful God, and He has wonders to preform, for those with willing hearts.
Of course, for every prayer that is answered, there go a hundred others that go unanswered. Like me. I could have really used God's help when my abusive father was kicking me in the nuts while I was down. Or when he threw my head through the wall.
jesus this, jesus that... what you people dont seem to understand, is that every religion claims the same thing! do you think that jews or muslims pray to their god, and never get answers? that would be stupid. if you pray to any god, somethign might happen, but its nto going to be because of some god. im sure muslims pray to their god, and claim they get answers too. maybe you just need to get off the drugs... hearing voices is also a sign of schizophrenia, so maybe it isnt your god answering you at all, its just that your talking to yourself.
Someone once said ... I'm God. How do I know this for certain? Well, one day, I was kneeling beside my bed, praying to God, and then I realized, I was only talking to myself.
that is good... do some research on satanism, your sound like the type of person that would gain from it.
The bible says people are judged by their works... and it also says TO BE PERFECT. Revelation:20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Mathew:5:48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
It's so easy nowadays to start bashing on Christians. Some Christians have done some evil things. But, so have EVERY other religion. So, have atheists. Let me ask you this...If a guy from Peru killed somebody would you hate all Peruvians? How is bigotry always wrong except when applied to Christianity? Let me ask you guys this...What is the most generous religion? Who helped all those Katrina victims? Feeds ton of people in Africa? Opens up hospitals to help sick children? Do research and get back to me.
Ive met some once. Live in poverty, in camps on the outside of town, come in to tell the word of their Messiah. Wear tattered robes and sandles, have beards down to their bellys, smell like foot-washing is all they do, have bikes, but only when they find a repairable one, and willing to give it to you if you need it. I was stranded in New Orleans, my friends and I were seperated, and they were at the bus station, too far to walk to in time, and had my train ticket. So one of these guys, after offering me a place to stay, offered me his bicycle, the only thing he owns. Thats a "true" christian.
Yes those are true christians because they are being "christ like". They are doing exactly what he taught. I have come across a guy like that and he was a really good fellow.
Not all Christians are poor... being poor is not a requirement of Christianity. Look at Solomon as an example. Although I do believe if God blesses you with a lot of money then as a Christian you should not hord it, but rather be generous with what God has GIVEN you.
