Being covered in red paint while tripping on LSD would be awesomely intense. It would probably be a little scary, but intense, in a worth-while manner. lol I'd think I was covered in my own blood or someone else's blood and that shit would get crazy

Not quite haha.We're both specific when it comes to things so trying to figure out how things work out is hard.Like, she always has to be the one to cook or whatever.I almost feel like I'm interfering if I try to help out haha.I don't wanna feel like we're a couple haha.I already have a bf for that.

She's just too out there and in your face.I guess I'd have better luck living with more chill friends who don't worry too much.Idk time will tell....

 

I'm sure you'll figure things out and I'm sure you'll find comfort in the knowledge that it's not permanent.

I'm confrontational when i need to be, but that's only when someone is intentionally disrespectful toward me or someone/something I care about. When someone hasn't done anything malicious or intentionally disrespectful, then I find it hard to do anything that may hurt their feelings or offend them. I've always been that way.

I dunno bout the dishes thing...usually the way things work here is when people are at someones gaff everyone pitches in in the morning to clean...I always clean as I go though, wash a glass and put it back when im done with it or clean up a spill or something...that way when morning comes and im not doing a tap I can just say that I had my share covered during the night

I think its just courteous to clean up after yourself...but if they're going to be a bitch about it they can fuck off and do it themselves.

Its usually pretty hard living with friends...family you can always fight with and its usually forgotten about soon after. Flatmates that become friends is different though as your used to living with them before becoming friends but all of a sudden having to spend the majority of your time each day with someone that your not used to living with will usually end with a few personality clashes.

 

Mellow people are usually easy to live with.Like if you don't really care how shit rolls and you're not messy, then you've got yourself a decent roomie.

 

i'm getting a roomie on monday. my gf! she's coming here monday with all her stuff, then we fly to south dakota (school related thing for me) on tuesday, get back saturday, and she's staying. it'll be so weird at first - like a visit that she never leaves from.

when she comes to visit, we always try to make the most of our week or whatever together, so first we'll be acting like that, and then we'll just get used to seeing each other every day.

i'm expecting some frustration and some compromise, but i think we can do it. i wish i had a bigger bed.


edit: i just have to comment on the dishes thing.

i think it's lame to worry about one dish, one time (or even a few times), but if you were constantly going over there like every day, then i don't think it's out of the question for you to wash your own dishes, but still she didn't have to be so mean about it.

i had a friend over the other day and he just started washing his plate..i was like "what are you doin man! i'll get it"

i had another friend who's house was so messy all the time, he usually didn't even have a clean cup to get a drink with. so i'd wash one to use, but i wasn't gonna fuckin wash it after i use it too.
so i can understand not wanting to clean up after everyone all the time, and if your house is the party spot, then maybe it gets old, but at least be civil when you bring it up.

 

Well you guys would eventually end up living together either way if it's meant to be, so why not get used to it now? It'll help bring you two closer together.

I'm gonna be living with my bf in August or September but we practically live together, so I don't think it'll be so bad. He lives down the hall from me now haha. I think sharing a room and putting both our personalities into it will be weirder :tongue: I just hope nothing happens between us in between this time.That would suck.

 

yea during college we spent every day together
but not on breaks and not the last year

it will be weird and take some getting used to but it'll be great
