I joined because my work took me to a new town where I did not know anyone. The guys in the lodge were a great bunch of guys. I was sorry to leave them when I transfered to yet another town.

It was great fun planning the future of the world with the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause.

For it to be a conspiracy, there must be evidence to prove that, otherwise it's a conspiracy theory!

I never knew what Freemasons were until my boyfriend told me. He was adopted by a Freemason couple and he told me they worship an owl. He doesn't like to talk about it too much. He also told me he wants to become a freemason so he can rule america. Sometimes I think he's crazy!

An owl??? That sounds more like the Kennite rituals that are held down in Marin County at the grove. Masons worship the Great Architect of the Universe.

There are some South American secret societies, I mean really secret, who seem to venerate owls.

A good and accurate source for information on American Freemasons is the book
"Freemasonry for Dummies". I looked it over and could find no faults.

That's if you want the official, establishment version of Freemasonry, written by Freemasons themselves.

I've seen those books in stores. Always written by a 32nd or 33rd degree Mason. Not the highest you can get (despite what their books will tell you), but high enough to know that what they're telling people is bullshit.

It interesting how different the levels can be. People joining lodges in their towns doing charity work and then fucking crazy ass 33rd degree masons in multiple groups!

Can you please provide some verifiable objective examples of your assertion?

I can't even figure out what his assertion is. Maybe if he worded it a little more clearly...

you're clearly dumb aspirine. There are no objective examples, because everything on the subject is either published by freemasons or conspiracy theorists hence leaving no unbiased information whatsoever for the serious investigator to cite. I mean you can look to David Icke but your credibility is gone as soon reptilians come up :p

argumentum ad hominem is not necessary ET.
I am asking about objective examples of multiple 33 degree masons doing crazy things. That is what I took to be his assertion.
Objective examples of what the legitimate Masonic lodges are doing are things like the Childrens Hospitals, The American Revolution, The propagation of the ideals of free consciounce and democracic government. We have objective proof of all of these things. What objective proof is there of Legitimate Masonic lodges engaging in evil activity. Unless one counts being militantly tolerant is evil, as many Christians believe it to be, there is none.

I am not saying there are not Masonic conspiricies. The Masons are known for working for what they believe is the good of mankind.

Why do they have to be so secret about it?

When ever secrets are kept theres usually something nasty behind it.

You mean you haven't seen or looked for any evidence. There is plenty of it out there. Again, why so eager to defend Masonry?

You have to be careful of stuff coming from cable networks like the History Channel. There's a lot of disinfo being peddled by these sources, which pretend to give both sides of the story, but really it's to give you half-truths which only appear to be from two perspectives. The fact is, there is only one way of looking at it which is the truth, and the side that pretends to be critical of Freemasonry is every bit as misleading as the side telling you there's nothing to worry about and that Freemasonry is harmless.

I watched one of those on the nation Geographic Channel last week. I discussed it a bit earlier in this thread, but the post was eaten by the database and I didn't bother rewriting it.

There's a Freemason's building just down the street from where I am now.. I could take a picture for any people who don't think that they exsist...
