That's messed up. A lot of teachers have this superiority complex, and when a conflict arises with students they will not stand down until they feel satisfied and victorious. When they fail to prove themselves right, they just punish the student that made them feel dumb. I fucking hate teachers that have to belittle students to feel powerful.
