I read this whole thread thinking that you all would eventually get back to the point. My fault, what was I thinking? It turned into a match about who knows more than who. If you think someone is talking b.s. why even acknowledge it? Yes, it is obvious the guy is crazy, and has too much time on his hands; but let it go, and lets get back to the point. It is hard either way to tell what he believes in being that he contradicts hisself in every other post he makes. I like this forum because its a meeting of the minds there is no need to call "assholes" assholes cause the've probably heard it all their lives (okay, didn't have to say that but, you know im telling the truth).Keep it inteligent people.

hope there would be those who would "see" how "poor and needy" they are,
and in "seeing" take heed unto The Call of The ONLY TRUE GOD to:

"Come out of her, MY people......."

those who "see" will "come out" of this wicked world(babylon) and it's
systems of religion, they will "set their affections on things above" as they
follow The Messiah on "The Way to The Truth of The Life".

yes, it takes a Miracle....... yet Miracles do happen!

and "the world, those of this world, will hate them, just as the world hated
The Messiah", and sadness for such lost souls, at times will be their portion,
yet "oh, the joy that comes in the mourning(morning)"!

and finally, freed from their fleshly bodies, they will hear the blessed words:

"Welcome Home, good and faithful servant".......

The Truth will always continue....... and the fire has already been fueled and

simplicity is a gift that, as Truth, needs be received.......

You seem to feel very strongly that Christianity is somehow "wrong", and you have a lot to say about it. Yet you're not actually stating any real reason (at least not one that I was able to pick up on).

I am interested to know your point of view. Could you please explain your views in one simple sentence, like: "Christianity is bad because..."?

It sounds as if Fransisco is not content and may be motivated and driven in search of something... something that maybe christians have found... He may be on a journey that many of us were once on. At the least he is curious and seeking others opinions and comments. I think we should not judge him and instead accept him, love him, and pray for his righteous enlightenment.


My beliefs do not come from a book, they come from a feeling called a faith that was given to me by the holy spirit. It endures all odds and distractions yet continues to ask questions and form new impressions only with the hope of becoming ever closer to the spiritual truth.

i am hoping that your "Faith" is grounded in "experience" and not just
"feeling".......i mean i can "feel" a snake in a hole and not know what
kind it is till i "see(experience)" it.......quite a danger there.......

yes, my experiences have been fulfilling and true. I've never had a prayer go unanswered! I have been generuosly rewarded in turn for my genererous and selfless acts. I have been punished for my sins. I have asked for visions and have recieved them. It is of no question to me of the presence of God and my Lord. Through meditation and prayer my holy spirit is strengthened and I have intimate connections with my Lord.


Maybe you do not have these things, and that is ok! But for me it is a huge presence in my life. It has taken all my life to reach the point where I am in my spirituality/religion. It would be in vain to try to force these beliefs onto someone else. I peacefully accept everyone for their beliefs and do not try to sway their beliefs or opinions, I just hold personal testament to mine if I am asked.

If you want irony, something that many find ironic, but is not an issue for me, is that I am a PhD scientist (microbiologist), and do believe in evolution to an extent. Some people have a very hard time grasping that dichotomy and think that it is a big trying issue among Christian scientists, but for many it really is not.

 

to me, one who has "seen", and is yet being "set free" from the educational
"braindirtying" processes acquired while caught up in the throes of ignorance,
for me "education", as known today, is but a tool used of "the god of this
world" in his destructive purposes.......

simplicity, oh, what a blessing simplicity is! yet simplicity is being overcome
by the intellect, that portion of mankind used to create imagined systems
of destruction that further the causes of "the god of this world", "d"evil.......

Creation is being destroyed, and not by those who believe in evolution, but

and "progress" it is, this world and those who love this world and their own
