Well - fact is I do a bit of Djing myself on a small scale - and I'm not at all interested in the artists, or only in as much as the music is good.Same is true with others I know - maybe in the 'pop' world it's different, I'm talking of electronic music here. Most of the artists are pretty anonymous....
It's really about selecting stuff that will create a certain mood - a journey even.
