neither do I, it seems no one can explain if the earth is flat where does it end ? water drops are round, molten metal drops form a round, so does anything else left in a mass...gravity pulls everything toward the center, and forms a round ball
Why does something have to have an edge if it's flat? You realise the earth is not spherical right guys? Just go and look out a window at the mountains. Landscape is not flat. Seas have mountains and ruts and gulleys, so that's cutting into the earth making it not smooth and spherical either.
Well I suppose if it goes on for infinity it doesn't. But the earth is surrounded by space. Clearly the earth ends somewhere. If you believe in a spherical earth, that end is up in the atmosphere. This is why rockets have to blast through this literal boundary to escape earth. If you beleive the earth is flat then the boundary isn't above (despite what gravity and space travel have proven) but rather at the edge. Asking where the edge is is a legit question
Hmm if I believed in flat earth then rockets need to go up and to go up you need power. It would be that simple. I really wouldn't look into it. Tbh some things just are what they are.
And like what if earth was flat but space and universe was just attached to it? So it's like this one big flat fucken universe? There is no earth. We're all on just one big plane and earth is the centre and just like everything is attached to it. And the sky reflects the ocean right? So that must be a mirror. So the edge of the world is actually up in the sky, not across the ocean. so we blast up. Into the sky with our rockets and then we're in space. And then all astronots are doing are take photos of earth from above, but the mass of earth is just circular, So all were looking at really is a flat earth that's circle shape. And the continents? That's simple. Obviously this flat earth is on a conveyer belt. That's why the continents are different everytime the astronots take photos. They just get recycled every 24hrs.
If you don't take everything that's said seriously and open yourself to the underlining humor, it's quite enjoyable.
maps are fun. but flat or round, it still isn't big enough to ride a train, without doubling back on yourself, or passing where you've already been, one way or another, for ever. which is something, one of those weird things, i'd like to be able to do.
a silly picture because there isn't that kind of absolute containment, and our world is just another among billions. i mean these kinds of things could be fun, if people didn't get trapped into not even trying to look beyond them.
It's just a photo that I found interesting. I am posting photos of the Earth as they are depicted in the past by ancient civilizations.
every time i use my GPS, it doesn't depict the earth as round. and they use satellites. satellites in "space"
