Thanks! I do go there often. My mom runs a small boat rental business there and I work for her sometimes. Whenever it isn't busy I get to use the boats or go swimming!
Yep, it's pretty sweet! Plus, it's like a full day workout! I get my cardio in a rowboat or something if I want, a bunch of strength training while lifting and moving boats all day and on the paddleboard, and then more cardio since I go swimming at the end of the day.
I love that. My new job is pretty physical as well, which pleases me greatly. I did not want another desk job.
45 minutes cardio Bench press - 6 x 5 Curls (multiple sets of varying weights/reps) Bent over barbell rows - 5 x 8 Overhead shoulder press - 5 x 10 Squats - 6 x 5 Deadlifts - 6 x 3 Now it's time to load up on carbs after I cook up a ribeye.
I hiked the Grouse Grind today. 2,830 stairs up. It took me an hour and twenty minutes to get to the top.
I have heard of the grouse grind! I went to Grouse Mountain the first time I was in BC. It was beautiful!
I will most probably take a break for a week or so while I visit my family over seas. Unless... Unless I keep eating food which I probably will so I might do some crunches when I wake up having a fat day.
Weighted chinups - 3×10 Pushups -12×25 Barbell curls - 2x15 (35lbs) / 2×12 (40lbs) / 2x10 (50lbs) / 1x15 (35lbs)
I've heard there is a lot to explore, and an amazing patio/restaurant. I haven't explored it at all though. I've just stretched when I've go to the top, and then taken the trolly thing back down to the base. We should go there when you're in town. Do you hike at all?
I'm not much of a hiker honestly. I'm alright on shorter trips, but I get tired pretty quickly. I might be doing more of that this summer since I'll actually be around the mountains! If I can build up some more stamina then yes!
