Just finished a full-body workout that consisted mostly of compound lifts: squats, deadlifts, bench presses, rows and shoulder press. Also did about 5 sets of 15 barbell curls and 100 pushups.

Now I am carbing the fuck up and having a refeed with some white jasmine rice with Kerrygold butter. Feeling nicely sleepy and euphoric at the moment, but also extremely horny. I might have to call up one of my female friends.

Funny you should say that, because simply cutting out calories has the same exact effect as cardio in terms of weight loss. Most people spend 40 minutes on a stationary bike thinking they burned 1,000 calories or however many the bike computer says, when in reality that number might be more like 300-400 calories. Then they leave the gym thinking they burned more calories than they really have, only to go and have a big, high-calorie meal right after where they've just eaten all the calories they've burned right back and then some. Simply taking cheese off a burger doesn't sound like much, but depending on the amount it might be 1 or 2 hundred calories, which might be like 15-20 minutes worth of cardio in calories.

    15 minute jog.

I hadn't officially ran or jogged in near two years but my legs were aching and I thought oh that's it, if you want to be sore I'll make you sore. So I went jogging and actually quite pleasantly surprised at how well I did. My only struggle was a hill that seemed to take forever and my legs got real heavy by the top but once on the flat I picked up pace and back home I think roughly 15mins.

My legs are really sore today but that dull ache I felt has gone and it feels as if my muscles were just yearning to be used more than what they are so I think I'll keep the jogging up.

Another note is I'd have sworn I put on weight over Easter. Not from chocolate, I dont eat it and my meals were actually decent but I did drink a fair amount of beer which usually bloats me and makes me feel fat for a few days so anyway I could have sworn I'd put on weight. So I weighed myself purposely with heavier clothes on so that I could just laugh at the scale but you know what? I'd actually lost weight and I know the heavier clothes add up to about 1kg. And Even with them I'm under what I was this time last week. So I think my metabolism has finally caught up where I can just eat what I want and it'll burn off. :)

You might try some rear delt / rotator cuff exercises. That helps my shoulder tendonitis
