they do that here too...hold the boot out for donations from citizens as they are trying to leave the mall parking lot...and then donate it to a charity as a "firefighter" donation at least it goes to a good place I usually say no..I'd rather save it and give to the poppy people for rememberance day collections
The firefighters in my town do that as well and I try to donate as much as possible. But taxes around here are pretty cheap but we also must pay for trash removal ourselves, if you are not contracted you will not have your garbage taken away.
Because no matter how much I hated your opinion, if you were in trouble, I wouldn't think twice, I would helping you. What is this world coming to? Isn't there any sense of community anymore? What happened to "love thy neighbour"? PAX
Dude, it doesn't friggin matter what the circumstances are! If there is a fire threatening someones livelihood it should be put out! YES he should be reprimanded, YES he should have to pay out the ass for being a complete idiot, but c'mon, don't let the guys house and animals burn out of spite! Poor guy.
Personally I would not think twice, I would jump in and try to put out the fire. But I am not a firefighter, as I said earlier if one of the firefighters got hurt or killed, what then?
Thank you for posting the video hotwater!! Yea it is very strange he didnt do this! (Only thinking of himself which is sad)
Ive been talking to some rural landowners on another forum and they say the regular way this works is that you either pay the fee and get on a list or if you're not on the list you have to pay the total cost of labor etc...charged out as manhours at a set rate this sounds totally within reason and this fire department really needs to change the policy I think there's a bit of misunderstanding about whether the guy said he'd pay the fee...or "whatever it costs"
Hey we have a constitutional right to burn things down, article 4, section 2 *edit* actually apparently that part of the constitution says ohhhh slavery
