Hikaru, (ahem, 'scuse) but you should see the capilliaries in the villi of the small intestine, that is really good guts! alas the capilliaries in the alveoli of the lung surpass all of that. I give lungs a 100% vascularization absorptiviity potential intestines an 25% sublingual 5% rest of mouth through to the tail 4.5%
Aye. The lungs is really the way to go for maximum efficiency. Unfortunately, I think the salvinorin doesn't really reach the intestines, I remember hearing somewhere that it is broken down from the acid in the stomach before it can reach the intestines, so if you just eat Salvia leaves, it HAS to be absorbed through the stomach (which has a very low rate of absorbtion, though it does absorb). I think the percentage rate might be something between .5% and 1%.
stomache acid does nothing to salvinorin. daniel siebert swallowed a capsule of 10mg salvinorin, unchopped, unchewed, unemulsified, undissolved big surprise? - he did not get effects! the waxy crystals slid through his aliementary system (undigested) and slowly bits were maybe absorbed though never enough and never fast enough to reach threashold. these lumpy clumpy waxy crystals could probably be used to create tiny time pills in allergy medicines, if you know what I mean. No test of stomache acid destroying salvinorin was ever done, just this negative result of a capsule by Siebert with less than a single reflection upon what is actually happenning chemically - physically - it is like the torch issue (that type of science bugs my a**). - so it's just heresay, but when a scientist says it every one goes "here here" hmmm.
