Celebrate for my 18th? Nah I wont be in town then, I'll probably have some mates around for a party. But in general regarding town - I still wanna go for the social aspect, just because I'll have other friends in there to hang around with. Not being able to have as much fun being stupid as I could somewhere without security is what puts me off, plus yeah - plenty of wankers, and expensive...

Still just under 2 months I think, so not just yet.

A small update, although not really too much to update on.

    7 weeks now.

Lots of loose hairs, which I do kinda like the look of, although makes the dreads look like normal hair in pictures unless they're spaced out.

Anyway, some pictures from yesterday - Had just been for a swim so they were still a bit wet.

And one of the back to get an idea of the length they are at. Thankfully the overall length has not decreased by much, I think due to the long wispy tips. Although there are a number that have shrunk up very short mixed in amongst the rest.

    And a few questions too!
I know salt water from the beach and everything is good for them, although what I'm worried about here is that a lot of the beach water here is kinda dirty. So, would it just be best if I gave them a good clean out after swimming in it? Should I rinse or wash them after being in the salt-water in any case?

I remembered our swimming pool at home is a salt water one as well, so I'm wondering whether it'd help to swim in there a bit, despite the chlorine and other chemicals?

    Thanks
    Cameron

yours are young enough that rinsing them out after visiting the ocean wouldn't cause much of a problem. besides they'd be already wet... so it wouldn't do much in the way of creating mold hahaha.

and swimming in the pool might do something, dunno. i've never been much of a salt-water user. probably best to rinse out all the chemicals though once you get done swimming.

dreads are nice :) you're getting some loops looks like.

My 'Back Cat' as my friends like to call it ;)
I could have had a manly, hairy chest.. But no, my body thought it would be funnier to put it on my arse and lower back  :p

Unfortunately no, but I would have liked to. I've got exams and work then which kinda sucks.
Plus I don't have the money anyway haha.

    One of my favourites --

Well tonight it's about 20 degrees which is pretty cool for where I am.

Depends where in Australia though, like down south it gets freezing ans snowing.

Up here in the tropics, especially on the coast anything around 10 degrees would be bloody freezing!

Although if I was to head a few hours inland, directly west, during the nights I know it can get down to 0.

Given an option I'd move to Australia if only for the weather ;) REALLY would love to go down there for a while. Dreams, dreams...

    And I love Aussie accents!

A day short of 9 weeks, and got some photos today (mainly the last 2)that maybe do my progress a bit of justice compared to my other photos lol

See in the middle of this photo down the bottom there is the kinked dread, that is one I've actually had for sometime probably close to a year, so it's one of my favourites haha
    [IMG]

One of many loops, and you can actually see that there are baby dreadies under all the loose hairs in this picture which dont seem to show in the others I have.

The same goes for this picture, I was trying to get a photo of my shell, failed at that, but you can see that there is some solid chunks under there haha

Haha you're alright, doesn't sound that way. But yeah I do look young there? I do have cold atm and my face is kinda a bit puffy, although I don't think that's an excuse. I'm probably not that old looking

Another which I forgot to upload too. Can kinda seem them in this, although thick, dark hair is hard to show them off well.
