braveheart, 'freedom' forest gump, 'i may not be a smart man jennie...but i know what love is' Romeo and juliette 'A plauge on both your houses' Meet joe black
Usually I hate the love element in movies. For example "Enemy at the gates(stalingrad)" The love bullshit really fucked up the movie. But in braveheart I cried. I cried when they secretly married in a moonlit forrest. I When they slashed her throat and in the beginning of the movie with the wedding of two others I also cried when that English Nobleman came to claim the right of Prima Nocte and the bride prevented her groom getting himself killed. And at the end of the movie when he yelled 'freedom' while being tortured and when he saw his wife when they were cutting of his head. Great movie
the saddest movie I have ever seen has got to be 'Life is Beautiful" for sure. Its about a dad and his kid that have to go to a concentration camp, and the dad treats his kid like the camp is a game, so he doesnt know whats really goin on, and then the dad dies. It is the only movie that I've cried during. definently a sad movie.
The ending of The Crossing Guard brought a lump and watery eye (did I already say that?) E.T. as a kid A cartoon entitled "Nester The Long-Eared Donkey" (yeah, as a kid) A movie with Mickey Rooney called "Bill" (around 15, I guess)
The only movie I ever cried in was "My Dog Skip". I was a little kid and I thought that was the saddest thing in the world that those robber guys hit Skip with a shovel. Those bastards!!!!! WTF were they thinking??? Anyway, that was a while ago.
The old one with Alistair Sims? That one makes me cry too everytime I watch it, when he hesitates before joining his nephew's party and the maid nods him on. So human - the fear of rejection - and so sad.
Titanic is so pathetic. How can you cry looking that one? I was crying during "The Barber of Siberia"
I cry (at some point) during any Peter Pan based movie. The notebook made me cry feverishly, however I didn't cry until after i watched it. it was hilarious. btw I like the sig of the person above me.
God i hated Titanic, a good example of taking a tragic story in history, adding a love story (which always suckers people) and making a mint. For me (other than the acting) the saddest thing about the whole flick was the underlying notion, that this actually happened. If James Cameron had mad an actual account and stayed away from hollywoodising it, it would have more respect. In the end, it was just a piece of fluff.
conspiracy theory - when julia roberts thought that mel gibson had died... shit that was a few seconds of amazing acting...always gets to me..
the song remains the same, by led zeppelin. they all look so good.....bonham looks so hot....bonham...oooooh
