well i dont like to be sad, so i usually stop a movie before i get sad enough to cry....... but in all fairness, i've never once been able to watch "life is beautiful" all the way through. if i were to cry in a movie, it's likely that "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" (or whatever it's called) would be one to evoke tears. maybe i'm wierd, but i always want to cry at the end of "kill bill vol. 2," but not because of sadness of course. its just sweet in a really, really, wierd way....
Shawshank Redemption when the old man lets his bird go, and when he kills himself. Also Armageddon makes me bawl like a pair of panties. Land before time made me cry so hard on grade 2 movie day the teacher had to let me sit on her lap and then eventually take me out of the classroom. what's eating gilbert grape....mainly because i want to make out with johnny depp so bad in it it hurts my skin.
i saw this show about wild horses in wyoming during a drought, the herd was near famished and in a last ditch effort to save his mares the stalion drove them across the empty parched plain. I could almost feel the pain he was enduring as he circled them, biteing and kicking to drive them on, his legs shaking and his eyes glazed he drove them on. mile after mile hour after hour, untill they finaly when i was certen they could not go another step he reached his goal ,an old mine shaft filled with water. the herd watched nervuously as with tail errect and head held high he pranced into the mine, I felt myself choke up , he had done it, against all odds he had saved them. once in the mine he looked around smelled the air and I thought to myself, finaly he can drink and live. But to my amazment he turned and walked out without even a sip it took a momumentel effort for him to force those mares into that mine, fighting agianst there natural instincs to remain in the open air. his exhaustian was evident in his breathing and stance when he finaly got them all in. still he did not drink, instead with legs that barly saported his wieght he marched to a high overlook and stood watch, looking as proud and strong as if it was late spring. I felt the tears run down my cheek as i felt the personal pride well up within me, proud for him, and proud for myself, shareing a planet with such a great and noble fellow creature. its those kind of things that bring tears to my eyes, stories of honor and sacrifice
The tune is enough to make you cry when it comes on. Not only that, but the Titanic soundtrack "My Heart Will Go On - by Celine Dion" was enough to make me cry, whenever it was heard throughout the film. Also, hearing them three men playing the musical instruments, and hearing that music whilst there were people screaming and dying whilst the boat was sinking was enough to make me cry as well.
I don't really cry during movies, but while I was pregnant, I decided to sit down and watch Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. That was really emotional to me at the time. I cried all the way through it.
I cry at almost every movie I watch, I can't help it most of the time, but the only movie that made me cry for over a week after I saw it was Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. I just kept thinking of erasing my boyfriend or he erasing me and... oh boy don't get me started.
