Get over it doesn't sum it up for me. I thought it was an interesting topic. Like I said,I've had this conversation before. Not only about other countries histories being misinterpreted, but also American history being twisted and mistold. If you really research the facts,it's kind of crazy to see how mistold things are in movies. It's all about money..what sells...what people want to believe and see. There's reality and then there's movie reality. Two totally different things usually lol.
One thing I heard was that the quote "We have awoken a sleeping giant" said by the Japanese millitary leader in Pearl Harbor was never actually said in real life, though many people think it was (I believe it was actually taken from another WWII flick). I never really liked Pearl Harbor, anyway. ...Wow. Is this coherent?
yeah i agree, the thing is though, often people believe the films they have watched are true, and i don't see why people have to be soo arrogant when people are confronted with these issues........i just don't see why some people can't admit that it has been changed from the truth....i mean whats there to be embarrased about??...no country is perfect and each has its good and bad points in history.....yeah i guess its all about the money
