:toetap05: *points to subforum title* Plus, it was better to say it to a bunch of strangers than beat him up over it anymore. He didn't deserve the extra guilt-trip (he knew where he went wrong and apologized) and I needed to vent. My mom was trying to tell me that as soon as he apologized, I should have immediately not been angry anymore... I don't know anyone who can actually change that quickly, least of all her... I've known her to stay up till 3am screaming at my stepdad after he'd done all he could... I think what I did was much more constructive and healthy: leave the situation and come back when the residual anger passes rather than stay and say something terrible.
