I think there is a difference between being dominant(or just assertive), and being a bully. If you are bulldosing over your partner's opinions then you are a bully. If you are the one who usually takes initiative, but also respects your partner's opinion, then you are dominant. A woman can be dominant without treating her partner like a whipped dog. I can't respect anyone, male or female, who does this to their loved one ><!

I think any two people have a unique dynamic and the same person can be more dominant or submissive (or equal) depending on who they're with. I gotta say that for me I prefer a balanced relationship where neither stands out as the dominant but where each defers to the other's obvious strengths and knoweldge in a particular area. This is the kind of relationship I have now and it works really well for me.

Most of the time we just talk things over and feel for what to do and we're almost always in sync as we are very alike. It also helps to be flexible and adaptable and not so rigid in our views.

I'm a pretty strong woman, but I prefer to be dominated a bit in the bedroom. lol! Once I had a brief relationship with a guy who wanted to be very submissive to me and it totally turned me off. In the same respect, someone that tries to dominate me will turn me off too. I'm not one to be easily intimidated and it takes a pretty strong man, one without excessive ego, who can match me.

Female Dominated Relationships are becoming quite common . Just as there as always been submissive females that love dom men also there are an equal amount of submissive males that love dom women . Women are taught to be submissive and men dominant . Life is not that way and we live in a time when it is ok to be who you are . Thank God

Overall I'm shy and laid back and in the past I've been in what I thought was a femal dominated relationship. Over time I started to feel very disrespected because it started to get to a point where I felt I was not being heard at all.

That's when I realized that a male/female dominated relationship w/o respect is not a relationship.

Mutual respect is more important than who is the dominant one.
If you have that mutual respect, then dominate or be dominated, it really won't matter because both (or all three or whatever you're into) will be happy.

No problem here --- relieved day to day stress as the other carries the ball so to speak; but in bed I want to serve her, not the other way around - guess in a way this is female dominance as well.

who's a sissy in that case, the OP? well, i'm sure there is a guy getting dominated by a girl somewhere out there, so therefore the OP is definitely a huge fucking sissy by your logic. chronicwhattever, you're a sissy-ass bitch!
