I didn't feel old until I went back to school and started taking classes with people in their early 20s I am not quite 29 though, so obviously I am not that old.
I have to agree with you there. The only exception to that are women who take care of themselves by regularly exercising and eating healthy. I notice most women, even if they have a normal body weight, begin looking haggard as they get into their mid to late 20s, unless they maintain healthy eating habits and not smoking or spending too much time on the tanning bed.
So I look haggard to you?... thanks asshole. Strangely, at the disgustingly decrepit age of 28 almost 29 I still get asked for my ID. It is amazing considering how by this age people seem to think that women look about 70 years old by the time they are 30.
Its the law to ask for ID. not because you look 15. its the Law, I see people in there 70's get carded., Its not to make them feel younger. Its the law.. sorry to burst your bubble.. k.
Not around here it isn't... you are only required to ask for ID if they look under 21. None of my friends or my boyfriend ever get asked for their ID and most of them are younger than me. So explain that.
They really do card me because they don't believe I'm 18. It used to piss me off, sometimes I still get irritated because dammit, I've been old enough to buy cigarettes for 8 years now, but mostly I'm flattered these days. I hate buying alcohol at the liquor stores around here, though, those bitches will scrutinize my license until they go cross-eyed and then look me up and down and compare me to my license. Ugh, yes, that is me, no, it's not fake, yes I am old enough.
Don't flatter yourself... you totally look 75 years old! J/K don't listen to people, they are just jealous that we look so good!
I'm 18 and I already feel old and out of energy... I had to do something wrong at some point... I wonder how I will feel when I hit 60 or something...

I definitely didn't feel old until about a year ago. I put on weight, sprouted a few grey hairs and looked haggered. It was definitely a year of hell. I'm still too heavy, I still have a few grey hairs - but I don't/feel haggered anymore. I've tried to add some balance into my life. It's definitely more to do with what I was doing to myself, rather than what my body was doing to me (although, I guess that's a grey area). Anyhoo, I don't feel so old now. I'm not doing too bad for 37. Definitely: looking around at people in their 20's (or whatever age) and they are starting to look and seem younger and younger and I realise there is no way in hell I could do the stuff that some of them do anymore (or that you used to do) The good thing is: I wouldn't want to do most of it, to be honest.
