Theres nothing to worry about such as meteorites unless you are a pope or something. Look firm evidence that god only sends these things to punish sinners. This is the reality about how the previous pope died

 

They said the exact same thing back in 2000. Nothing ever happened. Why trust what they say anyway.

oddly enough, according to a book i read in 1972, they were supposed to have believed it was going to end in 93 or 96, somewhere along in there!

although tony sherrer, its author, who i met, went on to explaine, that calanders ending just ment the end of a great cycle.

you see, really, according to that calander everybody's making all this horsepuckie about, there's a cycle of 13 heavins and nine hells, or is it 13 hells and nine heavins, each FULL CYCLE OF THE CALANDER BEING ONE OF THEM.

and then of course, like everything else, it starts arround agian!

i think its something like once every 226 years, something like that, the cycles of venus, the 'dawn star', the 'mayan' calander is actualy based upon, lines up with our years arround the sun, somehow.

the book, btw, was called "lord of the dawn". he wrote another one called "warriors of the rainbow". i think they were both published by naturgraph press back then, in the early 70s.

i'm kind of half way surprised more of you haven't read one or the other of them. then again, they've probably both been out of print since before half the people on here now were born. just as a guess.

WE could very well end up "ending" the entire web of life on THIS planet, and our own species along with it, if we don't stop putting trying to impress each other ahead of pulling our collective heads out of our collective assess.

and i don't mean by tossing things arround that go boom either, although of course we always have that option too.

(and i don't mean by pissing off some big daddy in the sky either. i'm talkin about our collective carelessness with mom nature)

Scientist have been monitoring an asteroid that is suppose to come in contact with Earth in March of 2014. The chances of being his by this particular asteroid is 1:909,000.

Don't worry though, scientist believe that the asteroid is only 1/10th the size of the one that wiped out the dinosaurs.

So it would wipe out some of the planet. Would losing a few million people really be that bad?

Exactly. If we are going to get hit by a giant asteriod we are going to know when it is about to happen, not years before.

...you get my vote. I don't like the word revolution it means something coming back and that in America was well a bit shit. In fact everywhere it would be just a little bit shit. I think its political evolution that the whole world needs, with America as a microcosm type thing...that an evolution would benefit the most.

Is it me or are people getting too Obcessed with the end of the world instead of living every day as it is...

 

If you actually researched the subject, you'd know that its less then one in 43 million chance it will hit the earth, and they are plaing a space mission to knock it off its course.

 

i think since i was young, i have always heard, oh this year we are going to die or that year is when the world will end.. i mean you hear it constantly, it's almost a joke to hear specific dates.. but hey i'm not a psychic.. just hope i'm a bit prepare if this is the case.. but who knows.

 

In the bible it says the end is near. 2000 yrs have gone by.
