One sign of the importance of Hunter's work is that 'fear and loathing' has become part of the language. Guerillabedlam: As for the dinosaur/desk clerk being far-fetched, no portrayal of acid is as far-fetched as the actual experience. If you can't agree with that, you haven't encountered the real stuff. BTS: Nice GIF there. I know that's an HST quote you used, but it sounds more like one or another US President.
I never said anything about the desk clerk that particular scene may be more appropriate. I just thought the dinosaur scene how its presented in the movie was over the top. I just smoked a huge dose of Dmt the other day and laugh at your condescending tone.
Haven't seen the movie for a while but I had in mind the scene where the desk clerk turns into a monster at about the same time as the hotel lobby fills with huge snakes. If you're having sweet dreams on DMT, enjoy! It's not a competition to see who gets the most stoned. I'm not half so think as you stoned I am.
I love it. It's quickly becoming for me one of those movies I throw on when I can't decide what else to watch or what to do; I've probably seen it more in the past year since the first time I saw it than I've seen most other movies, except for the original Star Wars Trilogy saw Where the Buffalo Roam too but it just didn't do much for me, tbh. I think I might watch it again sometime soon though, I think it warrants that much from me I read the book too about a year ago but didn't take much from it... really oughta read that one again. maybe soon. maybe now.
