I've been getting into some flyleaf which has a female singer, but besides that....it's just random chicks whos voices capture me. Like Pink Floyds Pulse Concert, the white girl who sings just BLOWS MY MIND AWAY

(llth: her (performer) name's (the one from airplane/starship, and i forget what they called the group she was in before that) grace slick. she has a son who almost married frank zappa's daughter. she also used to live for a while not far from where i used to live, though this was quite a good number of years ago. she'd be my age, a little older actually, something like about ten years older i'd guess, so if you ever met her she'd probably look like anybody else's grandmother now. which i'm sure she is, at least.)

I fuckin love her! I also like Joan Baez, Bonnie Raitt, Janis, Grace, Brody Dalle, Bridget Regan, Sandy Denny, Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith, and plenty of others...

 

The show was stupid, but Dilana from Rockstar Super Nova was awesome. Really strong voice....
