The best hippie vibes are coming from Lennon. He isn't a phony. Like some others.

I voted for John. I still think he's the heart and soul of the band. Although I know many will disagree...

johns first glasses [the coolest ones] were just like buddy holly ones, the second type he hadd [little granny ones] were cause he was in "how i won the war" and needed "military issued glasses"...

ringo is not ringo, he is richard Starky Jr....hes is called Ringo cause of the rings...his frst nickname while growing up was Ritchie :p

John. I feel like I personally knew him, even though I was born 8 years after he died.

honestly and generally, often i find the people who adore john to be quite a huge bunch of posers on the large scale

John, biggest personality, easiest to relate to, wrote most of the best songs(in my opinion), and I just kinda liked him the best ever since I was about four years old. ( I distinctly remember wanting to change my name from Oren to John w/ a passion when I was between the ages of 4-6, but now I wouldn't trade my awesome unique name for John for anything in the world)IN response to Burbot: Well, some people I could see y u think that. But maybe the fact that most people like him actually means soemthing like...o..i don't know...that he's good! I admit that the other beatles are great(my favorite band), but I really think that John is the best, and not for no reason. The poll (not percentagewise) but as far as who did best really goes in the order of who I think is coolest. ( which is awesome). (getting back on track now) But you do have a point, some people just like him because everyone else does. Or because of looks or something else other than the way he plays music. To back that up: At one point John just started banging on the keyboard w/ no musical intentions to make a point to the audience that they were screaming too f-ing loud, and nobody noticed( except for a select few MUSIC fans) that's y they stopped perfroming. But on the other hand most people(I think) like him because of his music, and even if not, you don't have to call them posers.

My favorite Beatle...a question that has plagued me over the years...

In the end, I'd have to say George. The Indian music drew me to him at first, and I guess that's one of the few tangible reasons. He was just a beautiful, cool guy.

not THE reason buddy...there were many reasons...

and the people i call posers are the ones like "oh mi gawd, like john lenon is so kewl, like Imagine is suh an awesome song, like yeah totally"

those people...the people who think Well Well Well, is loud, too long and annoying...the people who think John was some huge drug guy...the people who think John was super anti-religion his whole life...the people who think yoko broke up the beatles...the people who think john was just a man of peace...the people who think Johns songs are one dimentional...the ones who froth at the mere mention of Imagine...the ones who think , yeah thats all i feel like ranting about now...

EDIT: i forgot to add the mindless followers of the "Give Peace A Chance" song

Since when is liking John Lennon becouse he could write so good such a sin? It sounds more like you're just liking the "other guy", just because everybody else loves him. Can't we just have different opinions about the best Beatle?

    Liking/loving John Lennon is alright.
