That is a fasntastic set. The jack johnson sessions were Miles at his most improvisational. So stripped down and raw. Evil and inviting :sunglasse

Trouble is with Miles there is so much of the stuff to choose from and most of it is great.

Jack Johnson sessions some of the finest recordings in all of music history, its funked up too... i like In a Silent way in its semi- seamless mood... check out the extended version with studio sessions also..

" Montreaux '74 " is my favorite. Could only image if Hendrix had been able to play with Miles.

It was a tie between In a Silent Way and Sketches of Spain, until I bought Kind of Blue a few weeks ago.

What about my favourite, Miles in the Sky? That's such a deep, complex album. At first it just sounds sort of interesting, but I've found that over the years I play it more than any other Miles Davis album. Although I have a small baby now, and so Kind of Blue gets a lot of action when it's time for her snooze...

Kind of Blue. However, I do think that Bitches Brew will be my favourite when I have listened more to it. I dont know the album yet, but its psychedelic/acid-inspired =D
