If you're looking for great live Zeppelin, I would steer clear of SRTS and head straight for "How the West Was Won." It's mind-blowing and I didn't listen to any studio Zep for months and months after buying it.
I prefer live over studio most of the time.. Humble Pie - Performance, Rockin' The Filmore (1971) Slade - Alive (1972) Grand Funk - Live (1970) The James Gang - Live (1971) Uriah Heep - Live 1973 April Wine - Live! Play Loud (1974) Led Zeppelin - HTWWW Black Sabbath - Live At Last! (Recorded 1973 - Released 1980) The Guess Who - Live At The Paramount (1972) Focus - Live At The Rainbow (1973) Aerosmith - Live Bootleg (1977) Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous (1978)
The Yardbirds - Live Yardbirds feat. Jimmy Page (Anderson Theatre 1969) If anyone is a fan of the yardbirds you owe it to yourself to find this album. Jimmy Page had it pulled from circulation so it's a little rare, but it is worth it. Very raw and wild and inspired.
