ewokutopia everything Ive said about mohammed is written in islamic history books , I could make a thread with each haddith in it if you like , and most of it is in sahih muslim and sahih Bukhari . vlad the impaler was a very nasty man but he didnt claim to be talking to god when he impaled people as far as I know, to me that talking to god and then being cruel as hell adds a extra bit of evil to someones character . you just need to read the haddith in the right way and understand that they are written by followers of someone like charles manson
And I could misquote the Talmud until the cows come home and call me an anti-semite, but thats stupid. maybe thats why the word Islamophobe is thrown your way so often.
Im not misquoting the koran or haddith . ewok you seem to be suffering from Islamophilia thats the irrational love of islam, at least my Islamophobia and dislike of mohammed makes some sort of sense . I can back up why I think he was the most evil person in history I can point out why I dislike islam and mohammed I dont like stoning, or crucifixtion, slavery, sex with children, chopping off of hands, blinding, offensive war to spread religion, killing of critics, killing of pagans burning alive of atheists, beating of women, homophobia , rape of captives, arab imperialism, ect ect really there isnt much if anything in the religion that I do like. there are lots of things in the old testiment I dont like to, but as a evil individual I dont think there is one in the old testament that comes close to mohammed and is as powerful today . really If you are going to contest my claim that he was the most evil person in history you need to start a seperate thread, I will dig out all the actions that make him the most evil in history and you can examine whether I am misquoteing
I have this book titled "The Most Evil Men and Women in History" with the likes of nero, bloody mary, stalin, hitler, rasputin, liz bathory, julius ceasar etc etc. It's really interesting and has lots of awesome imagery in it. I accidentally stole the book from some people because the cover is plain black, I mistook it for my sketchbook heh. Anyway I don't really have a favorite. My least favorite is my grandma. Ha ha!
Mary Tudor. Killed people, was turned into a really disgusting alcoholic beverage, and now she lives in my mirror.
"Mary Tudor earned the nickname bloody mary after her period on the thrown" Some kid wrote that for my fathers history class, made me chuckle.
Pope Innocent III (lovely name) - Made Non-Catholic belief illegal and basically gave every ruler in Europe a free pass into heaven for killing Non-Catholics - Introduced Anti-Semitism to Europe and made it fashionable long before there was a family named Hitler or a nation called Austria - Paved the way for heritics and witches to be burned at the stake - Prevented the clergy from marrying, having sex or children, so they could no longer inherit property to their offspring. In the event of the death of clergy, heritics or witches, their entire capital and property automatically went to the church.
Ehh...I wouldnt say so.....Roman Emperor Hadrian was a very big anti-semite, and had one jew executed for daring to bid him good morning, and another executed for passing him by without recognition. Its all those damn Romans. Roman Empire....Roman Catholic Empire.....etc. Latin is the language of imperialism.
Don't people have a right to access a lawyer or something?.To be summarily executed for spitting in the street seems a little "un-ethical".
johnny2mad, u r most definatly mis-quoting, or your scources are wrong. A) mouhammad NEVER said, "convert or die" nor did he ever force christins and jews to pay ransoms and live as 2nd class citezens. As far as his battles go, yes, he did engage in battles, but they attacked him. He never went on some big conquest as you claim. The very first battle he fought in, he was incrediably out-numbered, yet, he still won. The muslim empire was really more of a cultural dominance, rather then military. Most of the incedents you refer to occured after Mouhammad had died. "His" empire was the most advanced of it's time. Learning lived in the middle-east, while europe rotted under feudalism. That seems like an evil to me, not mouhammad.
