That is really a hard one since the Dead is my favorite band ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........all of them i guess since i cant only pick one
Casey Jones is wicked... but Truckin' does it for me. That's one song that lifts my spirits instantly...every time. It makes me feel so warm inside... so that one's got my vote
well i like all of them my favorite year is '77 or '78, Jerry is just amazing and Keith peaked and from those years i like to hear: deal, the music never stoopped, jack straw, sugaree, fire on the mountain, morning dew...... if anyone is interested heres a link to a killer 1978 show http://www.archive.org/details/gd78-05-07.sbd.vernon.8327.sbeok.shnf the jack straw opener is an adventure
Can we get some better title than these. How bout Franklin, Help, Promise Land, Cumberland Blues, Monkey and the Engineer, China Cat, and the list goes on. Not that all of this are written by the dead or to say that the songs you picked are not great, they are just to well known by people who do not truly love and appreciate exactly what the Dead represent. Not to mention it changes all the time
I am 100% offended that Unbroken Chain is not on that list. Theoretically the poll should be wiped clean and we should start over.
