i've heard good things about new belgium, too, but haven't seen it around anywhere. there are some online mail order beer shops that i've seen carry it, and it would be very high on my list of breweries i'd like to try products from... right now i'm on my second bottle of orval and had most of a bottle of samuel smith's oatmeal stout
My favorite is always changing as I try new beers and further develop my palate. That said, a current favorite of mine is the Hazelnut Brown Nectar Ale by Rogue.

New Belgium is great...Fat Tire and 1556(??) are my faves..... haven't found it on the East Coast at all..only had it when I was in Arizona. And we stockpiled it up...flew a case back home...............
Never heard of New Belgium. Would definately like to check them out. Anyone know if they distribute in East Tennessee? Sounds like a good drop.
Ed's Original Cave Creek Spaten Optimator Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale (in small doses) Modelo Especiale Yeungling Porter (and, it's cheap) and not beer, but Woodchuck Cider, esp. the Granny Smith
have you been to spain recently or whatever? the spanish one i don't like is san miguel... though people says it's one of the best beers in this country. moritz is the best one, but it's more expensive than the estrella damm or xibeca.
yeah i agree i dont like san miguel too much. although, i found it to be the easiest to get in supermarkets when i was in barcelona. they didnt have the bottles of mahou anywhere. and yeah, I was studying in Segovia last year.
The original San Miguel isn't a Spanish beer.... it's Filipino. There is a San Miguel brewery in Spain (Mahou-San Miguel) but it's completely different from the Asain one and is in no way related.
yeah, they don't sell too much of mahou in barcelona, it's not a good-selling one, i imagine. what about segovia? i haven't been there yet. people been to the city told me it's very very beautiful. really? i didn't know about its filipino origins. so, much obliged for this information, pressed rat. i read that the asian one is pilsen ale while the consumed here in spain is more lager-like in character, am i wrong?
Dude, that's hilarious. I love it when that happens. I got a $50 software at Best Buy for $20 cause the price tag was wrong. I would stock up on that beer. Sure the cashiers don't give a damn, and the stock boys may not even know, but sooner or later, a manager is going to find out and change it. Is it still like that even, or have they already found it out.
