LOVE TO WATCH KARLYN PICKENS THROW THAT BALL!!!!! Nobody ever timed my pitches, so I don't know how fast I threw.
Those of you that played softball may notice that Pickens does not pay attention to a crow hop rule , which meant that the pitchers back foot had to stay on the rubber until the ball left her hand. I had to adhere to that rule also. I heard an announcer say that the rule no longer applies! All softball pitchers will pick up speed because of the elimination of the rule.It means a pitcher can now leap forward as she pitches and not have to be mindful of a restriction on her movement off the mound.
